I stayed for one night and it was a decent hotel for one night. However the property looks like it could use a remodel. In addition, although my room looked clean at night I noticed a bunch of ants on the walls.

Great location near downtown wit free parking!

The room was nice. The breakfast was nice. Staff was helpful. The only thing was , we ask them to clean our room and it took them 2 days after we asked, to get to it.
-
Lobby area of the hotel was grand and luxurious. One entering the elevator its obvious this is a older and outdated hotel.

Weeds growing out of the pool deck, one unusable lounge chair (torn fabric), no others. Regular outdoor chairs all have holes in seats , forcing guests to select the least dicey of the options. Breakfast area very dark. No coffee, apple juice, sausage or potatoes when we went at 9:30, breakfast is open until 10am. No staff member present to monitor the area. Our room was not serviced during our stay, no forewarning as to why this would not occur, we believed it would be as this is standard practice.

The bad: the hotel has seen better days. It needs a new facelift for sure. Although the bedroom was clean, it was just worn out! The hallway carpets are torn and taped up, doors are beat up and the key pad entry doesn’t work well (at least ours didn’t). The grout in the bathroom tiles needs new caulking. The AC knob in our room was broken, so I had to fiddle with it to get it to work, but once it was on it made a huge racket. The whole AC control system was extremely outdated. The office chair at our “desk” was torn and not tall enough for the desk. And all the other furniture was very worn and scuffed. The freezer in our mini fridge had not been defrosted and was just a huge lump of ice. The LED lights need to be toned down to warmer tones in the room. I cannot speak to the gym or the hot tub as we didn’t have time to use either one. I’ve stayed at Red Lion hotels before in not very good neighborhoods that were wonderful, clean, and well maintained. It was sad for me to walk into this one and wish I had chosen the motel 6 instead. I hope they can invest some money to upgrade this facility someday.

The room itself was ok. When we got up in the morning to shower, there was no hot water. When we informed the desk clerk, he apologized but didn't do anything else. Definitely wouldn't stay there again.
-
The doors of many of the rooms appeared to have been broken into taped closed. Look like something out of a movie... Gross

Was not clean how it should have been
-
Everything was dirty and in disrepair.
-
Air conditioning and heating controls didn’t work in the room couldn’t get the cool air turned down otherwise it was clean. Some homeless around property but was not a terrible problem like it is in Denver co.

See ya next time!

The staff the bartender was a badass couldn't ask for a better one / everybody that I met that worked there was a 100% very welcoming hospitality was great but the cleanliness and overall other property is very very poor
-
Location Staff not properly trained. Our 1st room wasn’t clean, front desk gave a room key to someone not listed or supposed to be in our room at night.

The room looked abandoned. The carpet in the hall was held down with duct tape, wallpaper was peeling and there was no shower curtain., so the bathroom double as a splash zone. The water took 20 minutes to get hot, and the tub didn’t drain so I was basically standing in a swamp. I ended up washing my hair from outside the shower. The floor was so filthy it turned my feet black. The room reeked of cigarettes, I felt like I was sleeping in an ashtray and even had an allergic reaction. The TV was a museum piece with jacks for RCA cables and only powered on. By morning, no manager was available. The staff tried but it didn’t matter. I wouldn’t have stayed even if the room was free. I have seen cleaner park benches. We left early and paid for a hotel nearby, money well spent just to feel like we were back in civilization. The photos of this place must be extremely outdated or heavily filtered because what’s advertised and what you get are two different realities. It’s honestly misleading at best, deceptive at worst. Overall this was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for cleanliness, comfort or even the basic level of competence, do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else!
