Not a safe place to stay. Dirty

The workers are very good people. I start work very early so didn’t have breakfast there and I didn’t use the internet there. In the gym, there is are missing weights. There is not a full set of dumbbells.

Nothing The staff had no idea what they were doing. We booked through booking.com and they accepted our payment but when we arrived they said they couldn’t use the same payment for the $200 deposit. After a bunch of back and forth trying to figure something out (because neither me or my partner has a credit card) they said they would give us a full refund for our troubles and that the booking was cancelled since we couldn’t get our room. Fast forward we had to call them again because on our booking.com website it said we were still being charged for our 4 nights at that hotel mind you we already left and had to find another hotel to stay at but they infact did not cancel our stay so I had to call the hotel again Tiffany helped us twice and she was the one who said they did infact cancel the reservation and that I should get my full refund but it would take 5-10business days it is now way past that and we still have not received our full refund and booking.com still registered the reservation as not cancelled so now this horrible establishment has not only taken our money but I’ve been having to fight with booking.com, the hotel itself, and my bank to try and get that money back. I’m beyond disappointed and disgusted with this place. The pictures for this hotel are not up to date. It reeks of cigarette smoke everything looks run down the staff has no idea what they are doing and have horrible customer service. If I could give this establishment -5 stars I would do not go here! You are better off staying anywhere else other than here.

Staff was very friendly. The place is a dump. It’s dirty, in disrepair and the electronic door locks fail. I had to get a new key card 4 times in 2 days, which is incredibly frustrating. In addition, the desk chair in the room was broken and the cushion was torn. How it remained in a room was beyond me.

So unfortunate that this once beautiful building has been left to deteriorate. The hallways had not been vacuumed and as we walked past many rooms had busted doors mended with duct-tape and trash bags outside the doors. Come to find out later, this hotel is used by homeless for long term stays. There are two strip clubs across the street which also adds to the question of who uses this hotel. The saving grace for getting 3 stars were the friendly staff, the room was clean, and a decent hot breakfast was included. Also, it was a great price.

    Very good

The place was terribly run down and it was horribly understaffed.

The hotel was in bad shape. It is not a three star hotel as described. The elevator was loud, sounded broken and it shared a wall with our room. Our corner upgraded room was not a corner and we paid extra for it even though it wasn’t available. The view was a run down part of the hotel. What we booked is not what we got.

Staff was nice but manager promised to give me a refund due to the filthy room and smell, and I have not received it EVERYTHING the hotel smelled dirty room was filthy there were garbage bags next to my room

This place was pretty rough. Smells like smoke, neighborhood a bit sketchy, no available ice, my cold water faucet wouldn’t work… people were friendly.

The room was unacceptable. The wallpaper was peeling, and the ceiling was sagging in several spots. The curtains were covered with pinholes and looked decades old. They reminded me of the cigarette-burned curtains I remember from 50 years ago. The bathroom smelled strongly of urine whenever you walked in. The HVAC would not cool below 75 degrees, making the room uncomfortable. The box spring sounded broken, and the mattress was thin and badly bowed in the middle. The sheets were worn and thin. The only thing in the room that appeared new or recently replaced was the toilet. If I hadn't been so exhausted from traveling and already unpacked and settled in, I would have demanded another room. Unfortunately, I was too tired to start that process. For what I paid, the condition of this room and the lack of usable amenities were completely unacceptable. I would not stay here again and would strongly caution others to manage their expectations if booking this property through Expedia.

Under construction so it able to use the entire hotel. Clean enough for one night. Staff were great.

This hotel needs to be torn down or massively renovated. Rooms were ok but getting to the rooms felt discussing. Tape holding the carpet down. Busted doors to rooms. Well paper coming off the walls. Smelled like mold. Gross!! Not ever going back.

  • Engine customer Aug 2026

Cons: Parking has alooot of patches and is very uneven all over, lobby furniture is disgusting, first thing you feel is heat because there is only A/C in the rooms, there is only two carts for luggage and one wobbles like crazy, the elevator feels unsafe, the smell of mildew is all over the building, the carpet in the halways are taped and disgusting, the furniture of the room is as bad as the lobby, the beds looked clean???, we dropped water on the floor and the white towel we cleaned it with came out nasty, the pool and hot tub that is advertised as open from May to September on Hotels.com and the Red Lions website is closed for maintenance until further notice (Funny enough, it looked cleaner than the hotel). TBH, could go on but I'm tired of typing. Wanted to leave the hotel but it was non refundable. Bottom line, DO NOT STAY THERE.
