Absolutely loved staying here. Would love to rate it a 5 stars but the pool areas is why I’m only doing 4 stars. The pool itself was okay. Needs a little TLC and there were dirty towels everywhere from other people just leaving them.

The carpet is dirty, the rooms stink like it has been wet, the shower looked dirty. This hotel is in bad need of a major upgrade.

Everything good except for the pool not being open as advertised. It was clean water clear pump on but told us not open . Kids were very disappointed and we chose the hotel bc of pool.

You have to turn the lights switch on three or four times to get the bathroom light to work. The hotel is wore out. It was an old quality inn so that explains it pretty bad shape they try though. And the waffle maker didn't work that the kids love that.

there were 2 things i didn't like - the a/c unit filter seem to be dirty and not regularly maintained - the bathroom door frame had a lot of rust around the top of the frame

After checking in and entering our room #421 the room felt warmer than the AC unit stating 64*. We were gone most of the day Friday but when we returned the room was very warm. I just assumed the AC unit would eventually cool the room down some. Around midnight the unit showed FO (Freon out) so the rest of the night we sweated it out. Saturday I inform the clerk at the desk and he did have a new unit put in while we were gone. The two drawers to the desk/dresser would not stay closed. I will say that all the stay were friendly.

The friendliness and cleanliness

Rooms were disgusting, not clean. Questionable substance on the comforter called manager and they took the sheets off the bed to go and wash them instead of just giving us a whole clean new set. The door to the room also looked like it had been kicked in and broke it off the hinges and then someone tried to fix it.

Would not recommend this hotel. The lobby smelled horrible. Our room was dingy and dirty. The bedding had holes and stains on them. The shower floor was brown. We canceled the night we got there and booked a different hotel last minute. Fortunately the staff was very understanding and gave us a full refund which we really appreciated.

The hotel is by the train tracks, that run often.
