Nothing over the top, but it served the purpose. We had what we needed, and things were clean. The price was a bit more than I think it should be for the minimums offered. Old building, doors are hard to open, firm beds, small pool.... fine enough; as I said, the needs were met but not worth $200 a night....

Exceptional

The room was close to an elevator They switched my room from a two room suite to a very small king room. I could’ve gotten a king room anywhere in Shreveport. The front desk person lied to me. I know I booked a suite. It was changed without my being aware of it.

Nice and clean rooms, the surrounding area inside and out with restaurants within walking distance.

Outdated and run down but the staff was nice

Hotel appeared to be in the middle of renovations and none of the ice machines were hooked up. The breakfast did not look appealing at all.

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself needs updated and revamped.

Disappointing

Love the staff.

We have stayed at this property many times over the last several years, this was not the best experience we have had. While the front staff was friendly and kind, there were several issues. First we woke up with no hot water and needed to be moved. The new room we were moved too was poorly renovated. There was paint on the floor in the bathroom, the kitchen table was wobbly, the bedroom doors could not be shut all the way or you would get stuck in them as they were so tight, the TV in the second bedroom did not work and we needed to call maintenance for that, the pool never opened on time the entire stay. We had to go ask every time for the pool to be unlocked, and then they needed to clean it which took one day over 2 hours and the next day an hour and a half (6 night stay). It was summer time, and hot with several kids just waiting to get in the pool. There was trash and dirty diapers left around the pool area. The breakfast area was clean and the food was good. I am hoping this was just an off week for them and it will get back to normal.

The door to our room would not open and we had to get assistance. They sent maintenance to repair it and it was better but absolutely not a smooth operation. The bathroom door would not close and definitely could not be locked. On our second day the elevator was broken. Don't read "Marriott" and think this might be an ok place. It is in serious need of repair and updating.

The staff was welcoming and amazing and the breakfast was delicious. Just the proximity to Frwy because of noise. And not having automatic doors.
