Courtyard by Marriott Shreveport-Bossier/Louisiana Boardwalk

staff was great except for the fact their was no manager on 4th of july weekend. i booked a suite and was told it was not available when i arrived. i was down graded to a regular 2 bed room and no manager was there to arrange a refund. all they could do was give a free breakfast. the staff that was there did a great job

Totally false advertisement. The “boardwalk” it is near is a joke. Nothing is open. It looks like an abandoned mall. A few stores are still there, like a candy shop, baby clothes store, cold stone, bass pro shop. Very lackluster and not the great location that they pretend to be. The pool was not working, it was all green (so not a new situation) and that’s the main reason I stayed there. If amenities like that are unavailable, guests should be notified and allowed to cancel.

Sorta bittersweet. Love the new indoor pickleball courts Bitter, there's really nothing left on the boardwalk. No eateries and no shopping. N/A

It is a good place to stay, but not spectacular. Very friendly staff, and the rooms were clean. We have stayed here several times, and this was the best experience of all of them.

Staff was amazing, rooms very clean, bed super comfortable The advertised boardwalk was closed, businesses had left. This is not advertised. Front desk said it would be cheaper to go through them, we paid for booking.com instead of hotel itself. The amenities were not amenities. No free coffee, except for a coupke of pkgs in the room, breakfast was not included, boardwalk closed. Very misleading

Comfortable, good value for money! Everything around it is closed down but Salt Grass Steakhouse, a movie theatre, and Bass Pro. However, the hotel and be blamed for that!

Away from the local casinos, away from the congestion of traffic and foot traffic of the casino visitors. Great location, but the 1 issue was parking. Not enough parking available that at times i had to park a couple of blocks away inside a parking garage.

Nice peaceful and quiet great hotel and location

The facility was nice and well kept. However, I checked in after 8 p.m. due to circumstances beyond my control. I called prior to arrival to be to be sure there were no check in time restrictions. The employee told me there weren’t any check in time restrictions. After checking in and going to my room I discovered I was given a handicap room. I didn’t request this type of room. I was too tired to go back to the front desk about this issue and decided to wait until next day. I complained about the handicapped room and was told it was due to my time of check in and what was left at the time. I was in line behind a guy that has no reservation and he was able to get a non handicap room so the previous statement was untrue. Once I told the manager this information she offered to give me another room. Why was I offered another room and simply not given a non handicapped room in the first place. I should’ve had priority over someone that didn’t have a reservation.

Great location and very clean

We were highly disappointed that it was May 30th, the temp was 95 out and the pool was still closed for the “season” very disappointing to our 5yr old! We had to ask for a no slip shower mat, the room was clean and spacious but definitely could use updating.

Everything! Staff was extremely helpful and cooperative. Our room was so comfortable especially the beds. It was a very relaxing stay

The lady that checked me, it was so nice and sweet. You so professional she helped me find the information that I need to find on my phone to check in. She need a raise.?? There was no free breakfast
