Holiday Inn Shreveport Downtown by IHG

I loved the pool even though I didn’t wake in time to use it but the convenience of getting to the other hotel/casinos and to the riverfront were a wonderful plus and will be returning!

We had ants in the bed lots of them then go to the bathroom and roaches when to them they would give money back or another room don’t go here at all

Nice place to stay. I just didn’t like the conjoined doors and you can hear everything. It could have been a little cleaner.

It is July in Louisiana and the pool was closed, which was one of the only reasons that we booked the hotel. We had a suite the hairdryer didn’t work in the room. The water in the toilet was running constantly, and the water in the kitchenette didn’t work on the cold side, so completely disappointed with the experience.

Our room had a weird smell in it, like wet carpet, kinda mildewy

We walked in the room and the chair was stained, the toilet wouldn’t work. The smell of weed was stuck in the elevator on the way up. Walked in the room, turned around with our bags and left. Went and gave the key back to the hotel lobby manager and asked if he’d gotten a call from yall about a refund on a cancellation. He had not at the time. The hotel staff was very kind but the pictures in the Expedia app were very deceiving. It was “clean” but the door between the rooms didn’t look like the dead bolt was working and that is concerning for a family of 3 girls and a dad. We left and hope to recieve a refund of some sort but not expecting it.

They have Bedbugs

The bed was very comfortable, but the room had a slight musky smell upon entering.

The front staff incorrectly put us in a double bed room when I had prepaid for a standard king room. he began to chastise me for signing his printout and that this was the problem and not the fact that he made a mistake. I began to emphasize that I was a diabetic and that my sugar levels were low and that I needed to get into a room with a sense of urgency so that I can take my meds and lay down. he then began to indicate that I needed to watch my attitudes because he can put me out. What? I am a Licensed Mental Health Professional and I proceeded to caution him of his unprofessional behavior going any further. He then began to solicit opinions about me from my husband, all while he could've just fixed his mistake and gotten me into the room a paid for.. I didn't deserve this and I want disciplinarian action taken!

Not only was our room very dirty, it smelled dirty and disgusting. The carpet was very old, stained and extremely dirty. The dust/dirt on the furniture have been built up for quite sometime. It seemed the room had not been cleaned for months. Strangely, when I sat down on the dirty chair, I felt like the room was vibrating. Our room was close to the train line and it seemed trains ran all night long. Accordingly, we were unable to get a good night’s sleep in the lumpy old bed. The restaurant was dirty and the breakfast was inedible. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

The room was clean and welcoming. I wish they would be more upfront about breakfast not being included upon check in. We did have the breakfast buffet and it was good.

Great staff but room was not the cleanest.

Th property is old and needs renovations/updating. The room was lacking a refrigerator and microwave. Also, there wasn't a chair in the room. on the plus side, the staff was very accommodating and did their best to fulfill our request.

The room was very clean and the staff was amazing

- arival an check in was a breeze..no issues no wait and the staff that was at the desk was friendly and helpful. - our room was 337 and when we walked in the room wasn't cleaned. The sheets were stripped from the bed but it wasn't prepped for the next gues. We went back to the front desk and informed them and without question gave us another room and comped us 2 free breakfasts. - arrived at rm 227 and saw that the AC cover was sitting on top on the unit like it had just been serviced. Room felt damp and cold. This rm was a double bed. 1 of the beds could have easily fell apart if some sat on it or decided to "jump into bed".. needles to say my husband and I left early and gave the coupon for the free breakfasts back to the front desk.. -the owners of this establishment could really benefit from reading and listening to the review and come up with a plan to renovate and upgrade those rooms... Shoot with what they are charging and a 20hr stay it could be done I'm sure...

No tub... I booked with one and floor was very slippery... smoke smell was coming in our so much that we had to put wet towels dwn to breathe a little bit better but I wasn't happy ...view not good at all
