Aloft by Marriott Boston Seaport District

Nice community, great location.

It’s a nice hotel and the staff were friendly. Valet parking was friendly and went smoothly. I think the hotel would benefit from some sort of gift shop that has necessities people might need who are traveling. The room was clean and nice with plenty of outlets. I did have some minor issues regarding amenities within the room though. The weekend we were there, SummerSlam was on. That’s a must watch for my sons. I tried to be prepared and brought my firestick. Apparently you can’t connect them to the hotel tv’s. There’s a streaming option on the tv, but ESPN isn’t one of them. So I figured I’d Chromecast, but of course that wasn’t an option. Whole thing was infuriating. One other issue in the room was the shower. No ledges or shelves to place soap or other shower stuff on? How strange. Overall, I’d recommend the hotel to others, but it would benefit from some minor changes.

The seaport location was convenient and close to the tourist attractions on our list while also feeling removed enough from the hustle and bustle to give a sense of calm.

Outlets were oddly placed. The light switch over the beds had to be turned on in order for the light switches in the bathroom and vanity areas to be turned on. That created a situation where at night, one had to use their phone light to use the restroom. This caused some issues and will make us rethink booking with an Aloft again.

The hotel was clean. Only problem was they didn’t have a two queen bed room like I booked online so there were three of us in a king sized bed for several nights!

Just an overall fabulous experience!

Location is convenient. Amenities like salt water pool is unique. Restaurants/bar offer a good selection of food and drink options. Well staffed and very helpful. Self parking is a block away, $50/day. Too much noise from hallway late into the night. Room is small . A/C operating is loud.

There were a couple of drawbacks—we were surprised by an unexpected $25 destination fee, and we couldn't figure out how to work the window blinds. The AC unit was also pretty loud when it kicked on, and morning airport noise woke us up, but packing a white noise machine takes care of that easily. Overall, a solid stay thanks to the great service and prime location!

This is a really fair hotel, good looking good style and really friendly team member all over the place. Clim was noisy + sound from the airport make it harder to have the perfect sleep

Check-in was smooth and easy. Everything was clean lots of enemies plus the $12 free at the café. A day was great and checkout was great. They even held our bags while we went shopping for the remainder of the time until we had to get on our train. We would definitely recommend staying there and we will be staying there again soon.

Room was clean and comfortable. Temperatures were great. It was a very pleasant stay

Excellent staff.

A few things stood out: * One entire window's blinds didn't work, which wasn't ideal for either privacy or blocking out the morning light. Most of the blinds also had tears in the sides and the shower curtain graphic was all scratched and looked super beat up which just made the room feel a little too...lived in. * The line to check in was surprisingly long, and the wait took much longer than expected. * I'm not sure if the walls are just very thin, but I could hear extremely loud noise from neighboring rooms throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep. The check-in experience was also a bit odd. The concierge told me I'd been "upgraded," but when I thanked him, he immediately clarified that it was only because that was the only room type left. If it wasn't actually a complimentary upgrade, it probably would've been better not to frame it that way. None of these issues on their own would have ruined the stay, but together they made for a pretty subpar experience. I expected more based on my past experiences with Aloft, and unfortunately this location didn't live up to those expectations.

Really conveniently located directly across the street from the Boston convention center and a short walk to the seaport district. There was lots to do and see. I would definitely stay again, especially if I need to be at the convention center. 10/10 recommend

We received a dirty room, front desk was not helpful at first. Will not return.

The aloft was great. Rooms were nice. Beds were comfortable. Loved the bartenders.

Great place to stay for the night of a concert! Staff was nice, lobby had cool vibes with games and a nice outdoor space to hang out in! Parking lot was right around the corner and easy to reserve online ahead of time!

Clean hotel and rooms were comfortable. Very quick elevators and no wait time. Our only complaint was the noise level from the air conditioning/ heating unit. It woke us several times each night by kicking in and out.

An absolutely wonderful experience! Everyone from the front desk to the parking attendants were fabulous- so helpful and nice!
