We were a bit surprised by the condition of the fixtures in our room. For the price we paid for our room, I would expect the quality of furnishings to be in better shape. Otherwise the location was well suited for our purposes and the convenience of the restaurant on premises was appreciated.

When I checked in, the staff was great. When I got to my room, it smelled like someone had really bad odor and the carpet felt damp. I took a nap and had to leave and didn't return until late in the evening when I came in and the room smelled so bad of bad odor. I called the front desk and they had me come down to switch the room. I went down and stood in a long line (at midnight), and finally got to the front and their computers kept crashing, so after nearly 30 minutes I couldn't take it anymore and just went to sleep in my gross room. I think it's terrible that the room smelled so bad and felt the fact that no one picked up on it during the clean made me think everything was dirty. The rest was fine but man, it was disgusting!!!

I had a very nice stay at the Westin. I was visiting family and I arrived at the hotel early, around 1pm. Check in is 4 but the person at the desk offered me a room with a Murphy bed as it was available immediately. It was an upper floor but even so I was reluctant about bed comfort. He told me to see if I liked it and if not, I could wait for a regular bed situation. To my surprise, the Murphy bed was quite comfortable and the view especially at night was spectacular! Which proves that sometimes an old dog should try something new😁
