Restaurant too expensive and my room smelled like armpits

After our flight to Boston was delayed by 3 hours, we arrived at the hotel around 11:30 pm, exhausted and ready to get a good night's rest. However, we learned the room we'd reserved months earlier with a king sized bed had been given away. We were told our only option was a room with 2 doubles, take it or leave it. The clerk was apologetic, not his fault, but the manager was cold and rude. "What do you want to do?" (As if we had a choice at that point and hour. He threw in a free breakfast, like that mattered.) The manager admitted they frequently over book. There was a big convention being held there, so they HAD to give our room away. This was the start of our weekend to celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary. As we were checking in, my husband hurried over to the bar in the lobby to order a quick drink, as we were both parched from traveling. He was told (again rudely), "closed." Once in our rooms, we thought, at least we could get a bottle of water. There were none. When we went back to the front desk to ask for water, we were told they ran out. (Seriously) Our entire stay was like this, disappointing. The only exception was the breakfast buffet which was top notch, and the restaurant staff were AMAZING (welcoming, kind, helpful). Our suggestion: they should be training the front desk crew.

Location, the heavenly bed. A bit pricey.

Arrived on a Sunday and wanted to find the concierge to help make a reservation. They told us there’s no concierge’s on weekends. Monday morning went down to find the concierge and they didn’t come in until 10 AM. Disappointing the room itself was nice. It was clean. I did not care for the location too far away from the things you want to see if you’re there as a tourist.

Wonderful property

Staff at the desk were young and dismissive of a genuinely bad situation. We were told our stay would be "taken care of" and that our parking fee would be waived. Neither happened — we were charged in full. It took nearly two months of follow-up before the Front Office Manager responded. Her final offer was a small number of Bonvoy points, nowhere near enough to cover the cost of a night there, as compensation for a wasted, sleepless night with a toddler. When I pushed back, she stopped responding entirely, ignoring multiple follow-up emails. We've stayed at this Westin three times in the past year with zero issues before this, which makes the lack of accountability here even more disappointing. We're now filing a chargeback with our bank since the hotel wouldn't make this right on its own. Book with your eyes open. This is not an environment I'd recommend.

Good overall stay

It was not clearly defined where the parking area was and the lobby is not as welcoming and comfortable as other properties I have been to.

They had a new person working and didn’t give us our vouchers. When we checked out we questioned and they said we received them. The manager was nice enough to give them to us

Location to cruise port I had to call the front desk three times to get hooked up to the Internet, finally I figured out on my own they had my first name listed as my last, the front desk was not helpful at all and seemed aggravated with me. The phone in the room was awful it had not been charged, was "crusty" and it was very hard to hear. The whole room needs a deep cleaning. The parking is very confusing. It was giving motel vibe which would have been fine if I had paid a motel price.

The only negative we have is not many TV channels to choose from, the food in your restaurants was very good, room was clean , pleasant smell, staff very friendly and helpful

When you order a room at a hotel you have to decide do you want to stand budget or would you rather have amenities what’s more valuable to you. And during my trip, I stayed at the Westin as well as very cheap hotel rooms and personally I would rather have saved my money Then stay at Weston. Simply for my needs it just wasn’t necessary and a bit of a waste of money. For the most part people are kind and accommodating and I enjoyed that there was a shop on site a bar on site and a Starbucks that’s nice too.
