Beautiful clean room, front desk staff is amazing!

We checked in around 10:00pm. AC did not work in our room. Called for service, but they never came, so 30 min later we went back down to front desk and got another room. The AC worked, but the phone did not work in the second room. They wanted us to call the front desk to let them know if we wanted the second room. Same with Valet. No valet service for us. Parked our own car in a valet parking spot and found the car in the same spot next day. On leaving they just handed us our keys. We played valet for them and were charged valet fees. Not going back.

We had an overnight flight arriving at 8 o’clock in the morning at the hotel. They had a room available and they gave it to us, which was absolutely wonderful as tired as we were. Thank you very much for your thoughtfulness.

The room was small and the couch didn’t pull out like it said. The blinds didn’t work so it was dark in the room. and the AC broke 3 times, once in the middle of the night and we were there in a heat wave so we had to get someone to fix it at 2am. It was okay. But I wouldn’t stay there again.
-
The room was way over-priced for a 3-star. I asked the day before to change the king bed to 2 queen beds and was told this is not possible. So I did not bother to ask for a refund due to my delayed flight (the reason I was a no-show).

The hotel is understaffed. Especially during the check-in / check out process. Also the pool was unavailable. Something I was not made aware of until the morning of my check in date.

The real highlight of my stay, though, was the staff. I visited during an exceptionally busy time with the World Cup, yet every team member I interacted with was warm, patient, and genuinely hospitable. They handled the crowds with professionalism and made guests feel welcome despite how hectic things were. The hotel itself is currently undergoing renovations, so some of the common areas weren't as polished as they normally might be. Combined with the influx of World Cup visitors, it was clear the property was under a lot of pressure. However, I imagine these are temporary growing pains, and once the renovations are complete, the hotel will be in great shape. Overall, I had a very positive experience and would happily stay here again.

book a larger room if possible

Clean rooms, decent breakfast, some of the staff is great Management is rude and snarky, inconsistent explanations of use of spaces

Staff were amazing and always happy with a great deal of energy. If you leave your room key in your room, the liklihood is you won't have ur wallet either. Let's not always be policy vultures and use our discretion where applicable.

Back to hotel after match & despite handing bags docket chap had difficulty finding them at reception. Prior to checking out discovered I had been charged for the room again, despite paying for it in March. I explained this to Ryan at reception and he told me I was a "no show" the day before - there was nothing on system to say we were there. I said that it was not my fault that they had not updated their records, how could I have got a docket if I had not handed my bags in???? He said he would refer to his manager who would email me that afternoon- I am still awaiting that email, so not impressed at all with the customer service I received.

Overall good stay. Booked or conference. Clean, good breakfast. Extremely expensive! Area, other than convention centre, not very lively. Few options to eat. Needed to UBER a lot.

The highlights were the spacious room, which felt more like a one-bedroom apartment, a very comfortable bed with extra pillows, and a thoughtful daily snack credit worth about $15. The gym was also better than expected for a smaller hotel. The downsides were several maintenance issues: the pool was closed, the massage chair was out of service, and the shower door handle needed repair. I also experienced confusion with guest communications when a notary tried to reach me through the front desk but no message was passed along. One suggestion: provide guests with a simple local guide showing nearby restaurants, attractions, and recommended delivery apps. Overall, a comfortable stay with great rooms and a good location, but maintenance and communication need improvement.
