Hotel AKA Boston Common

Disappointing

Lovely hotel right at the top of Boston Common, great location. Staff super friendly and helpful. Room was a little dark but very comfortable.

Great location, good helpful, decent room. The only issue was the shower water pressure was horrible, probably the worst I have ever experienced.

Great location

Very disappointing for the price. We paid extra for the central location. However, upon check in were advised there was an additional "destination/resort fee" that was buried deep in the fine print well down the Expedia website. Why not include this mandatory fee in the price? We were there on a Saturday night and for no apparent reason the bar was not open. The room was small and the only wall plug anywhere near the bed was hidden under a large hanging mirror. There was a light over the bed that had an automatic night light that lit up the whole room when it was dark. The coffee maker only had espresso. Only clock in room looked like a wind up clock and did not work. Table next to the bed was marred up. Not what we expected for the price. Very disappointing.

Great hotel, decent price, and well kept. Would stay here again.

The location is great, but the property is nothing special. Too expensive, with no option or amenities.

Very unclean, room did not look like pictures, smelled like mold, paint coming off ceilings.

The location is good, central although a little creepy at night. Boston is a beautiful city that has become dirty and gloomy with undrivable streets full of holes and uneven patches. The hotel is not a ¨luxury¨ hotel or experience as they state. Reception desk staff was cold and standoffish. They failed to do the room the first day and I found crumbs and hair from past guests in my room.

Great location for walking tours of Boston; very friendly and helpful staff.

Clean room

Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Location was good, close to the subway, attractions such as Quincy market and Boston common were in walking distance. Lightning was insufficient, shower was weirdly designed and it was making a creepy noise when turning on hot water, I assumed it was because of the old heating system.

Superb

A great place to stay in the middle of town, easy access to Freedom Trail across the street. Friendly staff allowed an early check and our housekeeper was excellent.

shower leaked, ceiling paint falling, towels smelled, place needs major renovation
