The Godfrey Hotel Boston

Staff and very clean. Just that the room was a little on the small size

The staff at the Godfrey are amazing. And their attention to detail is fantastic - from the always opened front doors, to the drinks and treats in the lobby, to the timely change of the Good Morning, Afternoon & Evening mats in the elevators, to the complimentary snacks in the room - we could not have been more pampered and impressed.

The staff was beyond excellent. Every single one! We had snacks in the room and a bottle of wine. The snacks and water were replenished every day. Rooms were very clean. The coffee shop has the best coffee and nice sandwiches. They have a Japanese restaurant on site and it is Devine. This hotel is close to everything. We do plan on coming back. There was no microwave in the room. I can’t eat much at one time so I couldn’t bring back left overs to eat later. That’s a lot of food and money waste.

The proximity to so many places I wanted to visit was ideal, very central. The hotel itself also looked very beautiful even the furniture was older - it contributed to the dainty charm. I also loved that they gave you sooo many snacks free of charge every day: potato chips, cookies, all sorts of goodies. The staff were also great and the cleaning was good. Since I visited during the World Cup, there was a bit of noise coming from outside the hotel during the first night. However, it stopped and didn’t happen again in the following nights.

It was generally clean. I asked for a quiet room and was put in a room at the back with no natural light, right by all of the air conditioning units, which made a racket 24/7.

Great location! This hotel was a perfect place for our trip to Boston with all the places we wanted to visit walking distance or close to the subway. Hotel was clean, beds were comfortable, and we loved the extra snacks and water they provided! Truly a great experience and would stay here again.
