But what makes this hotel shine is the staff, Everyone was so pleasant and helpful, A special shout out to Cindy at the front desk, exceptional service and thoughtfulness, as well to Jorge, who helped us with our bags, to Chris in security who helped us when we left something in the room and finally to Emilie who made our 35 wedding anniversary special. Thank you for a great experience and a real treat!!!

Not all "premium" rooms are premium. Our 2nd room was a shoe box and walls were paper thin.

Perfect location well kept historic hotel with lots of history. Great customer service and you could tell the workers really enjoyed their job. They went above and beyond for my son’s birthday which made him feel very special.

WARNING: Booked through Expedia 5 months in advance. When we arrived, the hotel had given away the Deluxe King we booked and put us in a room with one double bed without saying anything. Went back down to the front desk and they told us they were fully booked and couldn't put us in the room we had reserved. This is even after messaging the front desk a few days before arrival with the exact time we would be in. There is no water pressure in the showers, the water just kind of dribbles out. Book at your own risk!!!

We stayed in one of the very spacious two-room Suites. It was very comfortable. Even though the room was large the bathroom was very tiny. The staff provided excellent service and were very accommodating It was a very beautiful and historic place to stay. The location was centrally located and perfect to explore Boston by foot.
