Great location, close to Freedom trail. A little much homeless in the area but it was alright

You can hear the people next door. Management said they’d bring up a white noise machine and never did.

Most incredible breakfast buffet!!! Staff in the dining room was attentive and efficient!! The bartender in the evening was congenial and attentive to detail which made the experience perfect. All the taxes that we were charged. It added up to quite a bit.

The location was perfect. It was right in the middle of the city. I love the security provided in the hotel from the entrance to the hotel to each level. The bathroom was worn. It’s outdated and damaged. The trim was coming apart and missing from the bottom and sides of the door frame. This should not be happening to a $400 night room. Sight was disturbing daily.

Staff was nice and answered all my questions, clean rooms, fun hallways, great views. Pool temperature was very cold and almost all the chairs were being taken up by towels so it made standing while watching the kid swim.

The staff are the big plus here. They are friendly and well organized. The rooms have plenty of space. There are a number of restaurants within walking distance. Hotel is showing its age. A renovation would be called for. Except for the main lobby the overall impression is one of a slightly dark ambiance. Even the restaurant, which is a large, high space, comes across as lacking light. Finally, like in many US hotels, the thermostats seem to be set at 65 or so. Visitors from Europe, make sure you have your sweater with you.

Everyone was helpful! Our hot water in our shower was not hot.

Coffee in the room is horrible. With the $35 daily room uncharge better Coffee should be available free in the lobby. If it reduces the profits to much replace the free chowder in the dinning room with free coffee in the lobby.
