The staff was friendly and helpful, but for the money, the room could look nicer.

Cute litlle place to stay!
-
The room was nicely decorated, uniquely so with the “greeting dog” on the bed and wall light sconces.

Size of room and bed. The Trophy bar food was fantastic as were the bar staff Room 803 Air con was very noisy and lost two nights sleep, complained a few times and it was fixed the day before we were due to leave. Also, the double glazing must have an issue because the outside noise was also disturbing 24/7. No fridge in room and only one breakfast tea bag for a 4 night stay, asked reception for more but they could only supply green tes

Great location! Nice clean property with helpful staff!

The lobby was small, they let us leave our luggages which is good but you can't wait in the lobby especially in the checking out times. There were a restaurant just next to the hotel but I couldn't feel that I can wait and sit over there.

Now the bad: rooms very cheaply decorated and very small (190 square feet for standard), bathroom poorly designed with very small sink, no storage, etc., no refrigerator in room, only one bottle of water offered per stay (you can buy more), etc., etc. I could accept this except for two things: price was higher than one would except for budget hotel (in my view) in a good location, AND they charged a $29.15 day amenities fee that got tacked on after we left. Called to ask about it and was told that since we booked through Hotels.com they added afterwards (so price not reflective of actual cost) and claimed it was to cover the cost of WiFi, my one bottle of water for 3 days, bikes that could be borrowed (that were never mentioned to us) and cleaning fee (though they don’t clean daily. This might be a threat stay for some. Rooms were clean (although furnishings, bedding, etc. not top of line- but all serviceable, staff were great (although not well staffed and they were overworked I think— problem with toilet after 6pm and staff member said he was only one on duty and would come when he could — did but obviously long wait since busy.

This is my first review. The Pineapple Hotel was so much fun with soooo much character. Couldn't help but SMILE the whole stay. And the bed....crazy comfy!! I stayed on the top floor and it was a quiet sleep. I would love to stay again!

Bed, linens were excellent. location is great. Perfect place to have a stay in Boston, staff is kind and helpful, restaurant and bar attached. Everything you need for an efficient stay. Room is small, bathroom is smaller - all functional and worked fine. What would be nice is a sitting chair however. Given the size of room, it was not possible - but it is on par with a Citizen M, maybe better due to having restaurant and bar attached. Rooms are clean, but it's an old building and hallways seem a bit less than modern. Would recommend finding a way to improve hallways even in an old building. tigher carpeting on floor maybe, or different color scheme and lighting. Will stay here again so nothing is that negative. Just observations on what would be helpful and that is a chair versus a small stool.

Friendly staff, comfortable bed They took $400 as a deposit which seems way too much and I still haven't got it hack. It made it tricky to afford some things while we were there
-
Great hotel with friendly staff from the moment of booking to leaving the hotel. Very comfortable bed and pillows!! Great location too!
-
Close to everything. Recommend it highly!
-
Great value for the price. Bathroom is a little small, but able to navigate my way around it. Staff was helpful and kind. The internet was a little glitchy. Close to Fenway and other popular landmarks in Boston. I would stay here again.

There’s no airport shuttle, but the hotel is clean. The staff is helpful and location cannot be beat!
-
The location was great and the bed and room was comfortable and the option for early check in was great. The bathroom smelled, the fire alarm kept going off at random at 7AM -8 AM of my stay and there was no offer for any kind of reimbursement for that disturbance. The room was right by the stairwell and the door to the stairs opening was so loud I was worried multiple times it was actually my own door that was opening.

Unique property with interesting theme of pineapples. The bare floor in the room necessitates wearing slippers but was not provided. Once I took off my shoes walking around the room was a filthy affair.
-
Room was spacious and spotless, bed was comfy, staff were really nice. A little on the pricey side but understandable considering the football's on.

Worth staying

Beds were amazing! Really clean rooms! Rooms were small
