Wonderful place to stay. Nice area within walking distance to colleges, hospital, Fenway Park, and more. The rooms are very nice. Definitely a place I’ll book again

I am just taking away some stars for their hidden charges. As i had to pay facility fee at the hotel plus parking fee together USD 75.00. So 30 dollar was for parking which is okay as on website it says its paid parking but why do you charge facility fee? Rest hotel is great, location is great, room was clean. You can see housekeeping working all the time.

Great place to stay when you need it.

I can’t say enough nice things about this hotel, it’s a perfect location. The area around the hotel is hospitals, so it’s super clean everywhere, we stayed at the hotel for a concert at Fenway park, we walked to and from the show. It was perfect, the second day, we spent walking around Boston, from the hotel, there is easy travel to where you want to go. The room was huge, great size for a family with a teenager. The only negative to the room, was the shape and the placement of the beds. One bed had little access to the tv, but that is nothing that would make me not want to come here. There was also a small kitchenette, which was AMAZING. Again for family’s having a microwave, small refrigerator and a small sink, is perfect. This will be my go too anytime I come to Boston for anything. The parking was perfect, it’s right on the hotel, so you can access the garage from the hotel, there is also a huge food court that is attached to the hotel. The hours are a bit poor for the food court, it closes at 10pm. So really it’s not useable after any events at Fenway that end at 10:30 per curfew. But still amazing. Overall my family was so happy, we had an amazing time and would recommend this hotel to anyone! Thank you the inn at longmeadow for a great weekend.

Central location near to medical facilities

Great stay. Restroom don’t have a ventilation system if rooming with someone

The front desk staff was great and very helpful. The check in process was a little clunky due to their computer system. Overall great stay.

Overall, the cleanliness was good, but we did have a mouse in our room one afternoon. They “took care of the problem,” and we did not see it again, but there was zero apology/service recovery and they did not offer to have us change rooms.

Nice location, rooms were clean.
-
Very clean, well lit and comfortable room for short stay. Thank you!

Very good

Clean, good location. Tiny bathroom

Reported the shower with low pressure. No response. Parking an absolute rip off. Paid $30 per day and then they add a “facility charge” of almost $30 per day. Its a public parking so not sure why they think they can add this.

So convenient to hospitals!

The hotel is a block from Dana Farber Cancer Center. That's their biggest plus if the patient is able to walk. There are no decent restaurants in the neighborhood, but there are a number of fast food chain restaurants. The hotel has a restaurant with mediocre food that is a bit overpriced. We wished there had been a park or outdoor spot nearby. We were stuck in our room all day. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the cleaning staff is helpful. The front desk staff is my biggest complaint. Some are nice but not well trained while others were rude and welcoming. Because we did not book directly with the hotel, staff would not give a receipt for insurance reimbursement or even tell us how we could get a receipt. We had to figure out on our own how to get a receipt. Be careful that your reservation has a cancellation policy; theirs is very strict. We are looking for another hotel to stay in when we go to Boston for medical care.

The air conditioning in the room was freezing when it wason - no matter what temperature and when it was off it was so hot. Th water pressure in the shower was a joke! Could not wash my hair. We also got the last parking spot in the garage and we had to wait a while to get it. The restaurant in the hotel was closed on the weekends! That made no sense to me. For $500 would NOT recommend.

This is my second time staying here when I’ve had a family member in the hospital. The front desk staff is always borderline rude and act like you’re bothering them, even if you’re simply checking in. It’s such a shame as most people staying there are either patients or patient families who could use a little compassion or friendliness

I wasn’t overly impressed with this hotel. My son was having surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital so we needed somewhere close. It was expensive per night & it was just an okay hotel. I don’t even know what “amenities” they were referring to. The restaurant that they recommend, The Longwood Grille & Bar is so overpriced for mediocre food. Nothing there was worth the $20 a dish. The only good thing about this hotel is their extreme proximity to the hospital & they have comfortable beds.

Just whet we needed the room was perfect, clean, location to T’s was awesome.
