Dirty and poorly maintained

L’air climatisée ne fonctionnait pas

Terrifyingly awful

We were visiting our child, and it was a perfect place to stay

However I wish we would have read reviews. It was clear from everyone staying in the hotel that the central air was broken. Our ac unit was visibly broken and the thermostat was useless. We were promised service to the unit while we were away or a new bedroom. When we returned, the situation was the same and given a box fan because they had no more rooms to offer. Spend more money and stay somewhere else.

Convenient location to the downtown core and other amenities and sightseeing

Staff were rude and not helpful. Our air conditioning in our room did not work and they sent up maintenance three times trying to fix it. Finally at midnight it eas still not working so we requested to move rooms because it was 88 degrees in our room. The two ladies at the front desk were so ignorant about the request and stated we should not have waited until midnight to request a move…….well they sent maintenance to our room three times without offering to move us so we finally demanded it. Never again will we go there. Not recommended.

Bon petit déjeuner. Chambre bien entretenue. Service à la clientèle courtois

Carpet very dirty. The bathroom was okay although the water in the sink did not drain the last day! The noise from downstairs kept me up till 2 and there was NO phone in the room to call downstairs. We were above the breakfast area. Overal hotel needs good cleaning. Windows in the halls on Beacon very dirty, so was the property outside! Breakfast was minimal but enough! Price was right and the location was perfect!!

Had a pretty good location looks like a nice hotel it was but when the first get there the first room they gave us does not clean so we went back to the counter guy and he says oh it said they cleaned it, but it wasn’t they gave us another room once we got in that room. The air-conditioning is so cold. We tried to adjust it and we couldn’t the button didn’t work so we slept through that the next day it was so freezing cold we asked him to have someone come and help us and they said they would have somebody id one person come and help with the air-conditioning or no one to respond or anything

Lovely stay. The breakfast was meh - just bread, fruit and government cheese - but otherwise really nice!!
-
Love going there. Central location. So many things to do

The layout for standard rooms is odd. Felt like an indoor motel. Our room was dark, semi-clean and very stuffy (a/c wasn’t working well). It didn’t smell great and the bathroom was not in the best shape. The location is good but the parking garage is tight.

The continental breakfast is SO bad. Staff are just average, service is slow. Amenities are very mid. Priced right for location and amenities. Wouldn't recommend for anything but a couple nights.

This is a hard hotel to rate. Our room was actually really great. Spacious, everything very clean, everything working, cleaning staff kind, plenty of towels, fridge, great location. The breakfast was so weird and variable though. By this I mean that For 3 days it was perfectly fine (not a lot of choices, but fine) but on one day there was nothing to eat but bread (no oatmeal, no milk — by nothing I mean bread bread and nothing else). That was weird and the contrast with the days before was stark. The day with no food was a Monday. Also odd was that The front staff was seriously understaffed. We got what we needed and They were very nice but one person is not enough. It took 10 min to ask “where is the exercise room” bc the line was long and no one in the line knew the answer. There was no one outside of the desk check in person to answer a simple question like this. Also I would NEVER try to stay here with a car. The lot is not big enough and many people paying to stay who were in front of us in line were told they had to go find parking elsewhere Bc the hotel lot was full. People with disabilities should not stay here unless you are guaranteed a first floor room. There is only 1 elevator for 6 fl. All said it was MUCH MUCH better than many places in the area. Just make sure to get a room in the “tower” if you want your AC to work and you want a traditional hotel experience. We heard people in the “townhouses” had less pleasant experiences (and no exterior windows)

Had three rooms different check ins and out

The hotel is conveniently located right next to the green line T stop: making it very easy to get to Fenway from there. The Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and there were lots of cool little spots to hang out. I would stay there again.
