Good hotel for our road trip
-
I arrived and was assigned my room. Upon entering, the bed was not made, towels on the floor, and leftover breakfast on the counter. I went back to the desk, and explained the situation. I was given another room, but when I went to take a shower, there was a washcloth and hand towel only. No bath towels or bathmat. I went to the pool area and got a towel.

This place is nice in the main areas like lobby, hallways, etc. The room we had needed some attention. Chipped paint and older furniture. For a quick overnight stay it was fine. If I was looking to spend time in Bozeman I would look at other options.

Couldn’t ask for a better hotel experience. Room, bathroom, lobby and pool were very clean. Staff was super friendly, even saw a receptionist mopping! Breakfast was good. Pool was a good temperature. Great views! Very good AC/heat. The best toilets. And right across the street from a very good Mexican restaurant. If you need a hotel in Bozeman, this is the one!

The shower did not work and the tub did not drain. The staff did not seem to care about the issues when notified about them.

Good location

Ground floor hallway odor of smoker and stuffy. Original room reeked of smoke. Staff moved us to a clean room. Super helpful and responsive. Breakfast was good. Room was clean and loved the firm pillows. Slept well. Would stay again. Easy to get to the airport from here. Quiet location.

After I explained that other hotels on our multi-week road trip had easily allowed gym access in similar situations, he eventually opened the door. The gym had no working A/C, no way to turn it on, and the elliptical was broken. Later, another employee said there was nothing they could do about the heat. The next morning, when my key did not work for the gym, a different employee said they normally leave a weight in the door to keep it open because of the A/C issue, so the original “you need a key” explanation was frustrating. Our first non-smoking room smelled like smoke, so we had to ask to switch rooms. The bathroom sink in the new room was clogged. We also replied to the hotel’s own feedback text and asked for our concerns to be escalated to management, but no one responded. Because of this stay, I canceled another upcoming La Quinta reservation. Poor service, poor maintenance, and no management follow-up.

This hotel only has pet friendly rooms but when asking about any non pet options was told there weren't any but the rooms are cleaned very well! After wiping the floor with a washcloth and seeing all the hair from pets and humans, it clearly was not cleaned well. The front desk staff was rude with any and every question like it was a bother to do her job. The laundry was closed for maintenance. Overall poor experience and poor customer service.

The property was well maintained and staff were helpful. It was a convenient location. It is near a busy road so you hear traffic and a train whistle at night. We had been traveling prior to this stay so we hoped to do laundry. All washer and dryers on the property were out of order. Breakfast was good. Our shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower were empty too fast. They must not have been filled up.

The room was very clean and comfortable! The breakfast was delicious!

The rooms are kind of small

Great place. Stay here often.
-
Very clean and very nice staff
-
Room was quite small and it was hard to maneuver in there but we made it work next time we will book a bigger room

The breakfast was something we skipped and ate elsewhere as it was well picked over and we needed to get going on our drive, so McDonalds was right across the street for a quick stop for food and on our way. I would definitely stay again, an older La Quinta, but well maintained and clean.

Air gap at bottom of adjoining door causing you to be able to hear EVERYTHING that is going on in the next room. Not worth the price for condition of room.

The breakfast was good. They had a nice variety to choose from every morning eggs, bacon/sausage, potatoes/biscuits and gravy, waffles, fruit, juice , coffee etc. Something for everyone. Location off interstate was great. Lighting in room. Microwave was not in English. Guest Laundry was not working.
