Upon checking in I was not aware that they did not serve breakfast- apparently it’s “off season” (no dates provided). There is a sign in front of the property saying to check in uphill at another complex. The building we were in was so disgusting. The entire building had a smell of cigarette smoke, feet, and dirt. Housekeepers were sitting in chairs inside a room looking at a phone and laughing. Maintenance workers were smoking at the front of the facility when takimg trash out. Pictures and descriptions need to be updated. I completely wasted my money being there! I will not be back again!

Did get some breakfast bars, fruit and water at check in. That was fine as we are not big get up early and eat breakfast people. Really enjoyed our room. Lots of towels and wash cloths for everyone. The AC was not on when we arrived, just the fan- took it a bit to cool the room since it was so warm. Our tv died when we tried to turn it on that evening. Had to have maintenance check it out- ended up getting another brought to the room. After that we settled in and had a good night 😴 Loved the bed, very comfortable! Had two different front desk clerks. One at check in, nice gentleman. The other was Christine(a)- so friendly and polite and helpful. Really appreciated that! We will stay again

Was not the room that was advertised was not the room I thought I was getting

We did not get to partake of breakfast. The hours of availability were short. We would also have to go to another building requiring a walk (or drive) up a steep hill to reach the breakfast room. The advertised pool was also up same hill. This bottom of the hill location made it difficult to find. It was not apparent in the booking that check in would be in a different building with a different name.

The beds were comfortable. There were no vending machines at the time, no wifi displayed in the room, and the employee told me the wrong one, and i tried to call to ask again, but they didn't pick up because it seemed like there was one person working in the entire place, which was two different buildings. I tried to call the front desk on the hotel phone but nothing rang. Hotel tvs seem to have better options than this one. and it wasnt centered with the bed. we had to watch the tv crooked necked. i wish the shower head could move up and down but thats just because im short haha.

When we went to our room, it smelled like weed in the hallway and in the room. There are no outside lights near the sidewalk. The sidewalk is raised up in spots, I fell on the sidewalk due to it being raised. I told the hotel person working the front desk he could care less.

It was very sketchy and I felt very unsafe. I would not recommend this place at all

The hotel is nice enough for the price. It's convenient and in the middle of town. Google maps didn’t take me to the right location. It took me to the back building of the property and the sign that was lit up and visible was a different name. Check in is at the front building of the property, which is off the main highway so I'm unsure why Google maps had me go through the back like that. It was dark when I arrived and made the experience frustrating. Check in was quick and the room was clean. We never eat the breakfast as all hotel breakfasts are par in our opinion. But it's nice to have the option available. The was ample parking and was nicely lit.

Room was clean. Grounds around it not so clean
-
There was a stable smell near the elevators and they need a water machine.
-
Only one handicapped parking. Far away from entrance. Fridge did not work. No cleaning service.

Check in was confusing because the Boardwalk Inn is for sale and you check in at the Suburban studio. Signage needed to be better. Also, no working elevator in the hotel. This is very problematic and needs to be specified before booking. Carpet in rooms and halls really need to be cleaned. Really musty smelling and dirty. Breakfast really needed to be stocked better, but they were pretty overwhelmed.

The front desk area was hard to find and the second building down the hill and around the corner was beyond difficult to figure out. No numbers on the buildings so it was a guess as to which one we were supposed to go to. We ended up having to guess and just tried our card key at the locked entrance door.

This has been our go to hotel for the last year or so. We really liked it because it was clean, the beds comfy and pretty quiet. This trip was not so good. The first room they gave us someone had been in there taking a break or something. They laid on the bed and had dirt all over the end of the bed from their shoes the pillows were all mashed down so it was pretty obvious someone had been in there after it was cleaned. We let the front desk know and they were very kind and gave us another room. The check in has always been great. We moved to a different room. Everything was fine till i went to take a shower and there was no shower curtain. No problem the next morning we asked the housekeeper for a curtain and she gave us one. What made it our last time staying there was the fact that there was groups of people all day and late at night just hanging out by all the doors. The doors that you are supposed to use a key to get in with were propped open with the mats that were there. We closed it once on our way out in the early evening and when we came back around 11 that evening the door was propped open again. There was a group of young men hanging out by the door so we could only assume it was propped so they could get into one of the rooms. There were also several rooms that had doors propped open. It just didn’t feel secure. Someone had a key and propping doors so how secure could our room be while we were gone. We stayed out 2 nights we had booked then found another hotel.
