Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bridgeport - Clarksburg

We have stayed here a couple times. I believe it has been sold since our last visit. The room was clean and nice. Staff were very friendly. They do offer continental breakfast but we didnt have it. The bed was not comfortable. The thin king sized mattress was on some kind of lifted metal frame. Not at all like the last time. The tub was a weird shape and had nothing to grip on the bottom to keep from slipping. We had left and came back to the guy from the front desk beating on our room door. Said he was making sure where everyone was. Then beat on the neighbors door. Seemed very strange to me. It's a decent place for a decent price but that made me uncomfortable.

Comfortable bed First the toilet was not fastened to the floor properly. ( very uncomfortable) second there was no soap or any lotion at the sink. Third when I came to my room on Saturday after my time away, my access cards did not work to let me in my room. Cleanliness was fair as for floor being sticky in some areas

The rooms was clean. King size bed was comfortable.

It was good for normal diet eaters, I have special needs, so a hot cereal along with my eggs would have been better for me. Over all it is a good layout. I did not take a shower because there was black mold in the corner wall of the shower floor. I did report it and they thanked me for doing so and said it would be taken care of.

The room was upstairs with no elevator. I was very upset as I had asked for last floor room..The check in was really all mixed up and took more than 30 mins. as they were trying to figure it out. The hotel was very noisy because we were across from the laundry and there was banging and noise all night long.

It was close to my location. People at front desk were nice It was filthy, sheets had stains and part of the flooring was broken and gone. Room 113.

It allows pets The floor in the room was loose and it was dangerous to walk on. There were no linens for pullout bed and was told by front desk that I had to wait a 1/2 hour and then go get the linens myself. There was also no tissue in dispenser and there were 2 lights burned out in room. The security space from outside to get in was not secure and people were just coming and going. The outside lights to hotel was very dim or not working which made it difficult to find. Even though we had a non smoking room the hallways and entrance ways were so severely stinky with smoke I had to breathe into my shirt.

Clean THERE WAS LITERALLY A SCREAMING MATCH BETWEEN MANAGEMENT AND CUSTOMER WITH FOWL LANGUAGE. Very uncomfortable

When I checked in the TV in the room wasn't working. And when I notified the staff, the response was pretty much well. If you don't like it, you can go somewhere else.

Need to put the contractors that get up at 5am and stomp around on the upper floor rooms and stairwells waking everybody else up. People throwing towels in hallways with bags of trash setting in the hallways. One clerk got into an altercation and police was called by customer. Clerk screwed up and took customers clothes out of the room which was already paid for. Once he realized he was wrong then argued and even cursed in front of females and other customers trying to check in. While the police were present same clerk screwed up and gave wrong card to the wrong room and then with another customer gave a wrong room that was already assigned. This place needs new management. The older gentleman seems to be the only one that’s got any type of customer service skills.

The staff was super nice and friendly. Outstanding service Booked the spa room was excepting the tub jets to work and was not. And turned booking said on site pool was not on site. Was able to use the neighbor building pool if wanted to

Apparently they’ve been having fire alarm issues. The alarm went off and on for almost an hour. The breakfast was half there and not well attended by staff. Older building that needs quiet a bit of maintenance.

Nothing Cancelled approximately 3 hours before check in time. Staff would not issue a refund even though they still had plenty of time to book it. Who knows if the room had even been cleaned yet?!
