Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Milwaukee Brookfield

NO HOUSEKEEPING!! Took multiple unanswered calls and then had to take a written list of items we were out of to the front desk. We ran out of toilet paper and soap, needed garbage bags, cups, towels. Front desk staff were nice but unhelpful. Kept saying they would have housekeeping come to our room. We were there 6 days and they came on the last day. Breakfast stocking was poor during the weekend with one staff member. Room at least was clean, but tub did not hold water for kid's bath. Go somewhere else that has staff -Marriott should be ashamed

Excellent staff, very lovely and helpful. They have breakfast 7-10 I believe. They have a gym, Didnt look for a pool. But we stayed here for the Wisconsin state fair. All basic needs are within a 15 minute walk. But great area, very nice.

Everything was great

Garbage left in rooms, rooms not cleaned during stay, no maid service, staff yelled at us for not letting them know our rooms had not been serviced, even though we did twice and they assured it would be corrected. Front staff would not do anything about a suspicious object in middle of hallway, stating "what do you want us to do about it" they said we should call police if we want it handled, so we did. We had to file a report, police had to talk to us, could have been very dangerous situation. Police were weary of package. Was some discarded items in a hazmat trash bag wrapped like a bomb. The customer service was one of the experiences I have ever had. Back entrance door wouldn't work at times, was told to "just put a rock in the door to keep it open." Opened elevator 4 separate times to encounter giant hotel bags of leaking garbage. Advised front staff of car in back parking lot with flat tires and no license plates, they responded with, "sounds like someone was up to no good" car still in same spot when we left. Absolutely no concern for safety, cleanliness, obstructing hallways, elevators, rooms.

Rooms not cleaned, no maid service. Leaking garbage left in elevator observed 4 times. Reported suspicious package in hallway, front desk said "what do you want us to do about it" we had to call police.

My room was clean. No bath towels in the room. 2nd roll of toilet paper not filled. No towels in the pool area. Staff was friendly. Check in staff person made an error in checking in my son & family. Gave him keys to what was to be my room (king bed). He had reserved a room with 2 queens as he had 4 people in his group. They then told him there was no room available for him. He left. He did have a room but the clerk did not check into it. When I went to check in, the clerk was confused. Showed I checked in & then checked out. Keys could not be made. Manager came. Clerk left me into my room. Keys were brought to me a short time later. I had a different clerk than my son had. Because of all of this, my son is being charged for both rooms. He should not be charged with either as the clerk made an error. He is dealing with his credit card company, with Marriott, & the company he made the reservation with.

Our room was nice and clean, but we encountered several issues during our stay. The shampoo and body wash were empty upon arrival (though they were replenished later that day), the bathroom faucet handle was broken and never fixed, and the pillows were extremely flat—even after we requested extras that never arrived. To top it off, we overheard another guest at the front desk dealing with bathroom issues, and the housekeepers were loudly complaining near the elevators about their workload. Overall, while the cleanliness was appreciated, the poor maintenance and service fell short.

Good clean place to stay

I reservethis for like almost 3 weeks and day day they arrive. They wanted to cancel because there wasn’t rooms available.

They did not have our reservation released so no room. I need a refund.

Breakfast is fairly weak.

“Plumbing leak” and did not get notified (they said they tried). Did not have any available rooms. Sounded like there were a number of people not getting notices. Ended up walking about a mile at midnight with luggage to another hotel.

This property was exceptional, there were many eateries to choose from. Location was perfect for site visits. The hotel staff was professional and knowledgeable about the area.

We were promised an early check-in at Noon and agreed to a $20 early check-in fee to secure it. We were told to call the morning of to remind them of early check-in. We tried for 2 hours, but their phone system was down, so we could not reach them. Upon arrival, we were told we could not check in until 3pm. We were the only ones there, but they said they had to clean one floor at a time, starting at the top floor. Asked if we could have a room on the top floor once it was clean, and the response was no. We were told we could get ready in the lobby bathroom. I had a group of girls getting ready for an event. We scrambled and found a different hotel that could take us right away, paid more, and canceled our reservation.
