Motel 6 Suites Milwaukee Brookfield, WI

I liked that the property was quiet. I didn’t like that the cleanliness wasn’t up to par & I didn’t like that they charge a late check in fee.

front desk staff announced my room number loudly in front of people standing behind me and as a woman traveling alone and on the first floor, was very uncomfortable with that. He was unable to tell me how to activate the closed captioning on the TV and more than 36 hours since my check out there's still a $72 deposit fee I'm waiting to be refunded for. The refrigerator had a very loud high pitched whine to it which was pretty annoying. But the room and bedding was clean which I really appreciated and the property, which was very close to restaurants and shopping district, was well maintained and lit at night.

We travel to WI several times a year to visit family and have stayed at this place numerous times in the past with no issues. This was our first stay since the name change. We were coming in late and arrived to caged front desk. We had to step out to the entryway to call someone. We had to call a few times before someone picked up and came down. We finally got keys and headed up to find a room that was not clean (bed not made, dirty towels laying around…). We had to go back down with all of our stuff and call and wait again. She said she would check another room and then come down. She moved us to the next room, but that was not clean either and didn’t have towels…. I suspect she only pulled the sheets up and swapped out the trash in one of the cans. . At this time, we were exhausted from a canoe/camping trip so took our chances. We had to call again to at least get towels and prayed to not get something from someone else’s sheets so we slept fully dressed. I used my own Clorox wipes and Lysol to clean the sticky counters and to clean a spot in the fridge for us to use. One trash can still had stuff in it too. You get the picture.

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at a lot of suspicious activity. The front desk is a mess. It looks like you are in E a terrible place doesn’t feel safe.

The room was spacious and it was quiet. The beds were nice but the hallways were dirty. The staff were absolutely amazing though and kind to everyone. The surrounding area is great with lots of food and shopping.

the way I was treated by Manager for asking why I was told one thing by someone else when I called to confirm resevation but when I arrived was told something else, she was disrespectful for me questioning and could have just clearly told me what the confusion was and how to resolve it, but instead threated to call the police on me for telling her what i was told and trying to ask for a solution.

The location - that's it!!! The bathroom was disgusting and obviously not cleaned in weeks. The bedding was not fresh and smelled putrid, the vinyl floor was dirty and sticky in some places. Also, they had the audacity to charge $10 for cleaning - WOW!!!

Location and price The front desk attendance live there and still don’t open the front desk on time. The rooms have a scent to it like it’s been mopped with the same urine mop.

Nothing Everything. We made our reservation months in advance only to be told when we arrived at 9:30pm that they overbooked and didn't have a room for us. They made no effort to rectify the situation or even offer a suggestion of somewhere we could try that was close by. We drove 2.5 hours and had to scramble to find a place with a room available that was pet friendly and ended up paying $150 more for what we found. Studio 6 also blamed Booking.com for the overbooking error. We were one of three different guests that were dealing with the same situation of not having a room. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude and made it sound like it was "not her problem". The icing on the cake was that Studio 6 attempted to bill us for a late cancellation fee!! Ridiculous and we will not even consider staying at a Studio 6 in the future. I'd give them a negative rating if that were an option.

Never even got the chance to stay here. Drove 75mi for a RESERVED room and get to the motel and they say that they’ve been overbooked all summer. The right thing was to do was call customers to let them know there was no vacancy. So rude!

Expedia over booked the hotel and we almost did not have a room. Showed up at 7 pm and a room was not ready for us so we had to leave and find something to do for over an hour and then when a room was finally ready it was NOT the room that we booked. We were “upgraded” to a king room but mind you we had 3 adults so we had to share a bed. It had a pull out couch but we received a dirty sheet so we did not use it. Barely a refund only %40 one key cash to use on future bookings. Terrible experience.

Extremely dirty room when toilet flushed black smelly water filled kitchen sink and bathroom sink. Loud barking ferocious dog roaming hallways! Back door to parking lot left open with a rock to allow unpaid unsafe people to be let inside. Large window in room was left open and impossible to close. Room was dirty unclean not vacuumed fake nails and other garbage left in rug. Bad smelling room. TV didn’t work. Never never

I felt really uncomfortable that I actually left with out spending the night there. I didn't want to bother the staff and ask for a refund, I just needed to get out of there. The clientele that was coming through the door was very sketchy.

It's basically a retirement home.Residents hang out in front in wheelchairs & walkers.Room was dirty.Building is dimmly lit.Grounds & landscaping extreamly neglegted.Front desk is caged up with steel gate at night.
