Really clean and friendly

Room was great, carpet could have been cleaner. Parking was good. Breakfast was good but not much for protein options.

Great location close to all the movies studios, staff was very friendly and helpful, so many food choices near by

Really enjoyed our two day stay at Portofino Burbank. Clean, comfortable, nice breakfast choices, plus only a few miles (less than 5) from Universal Studios. Manager and owner were very friendly, and even offered to let us see famous Frank's Diner next door where many movies and commercials have been filmed.

I couldn’t have picked a better motel the first time staying in Burbank. Took my family to Universal Studios and staying here made the trip absolutely perfect. 10/10 experience and definitely worth the value.

Really nice and clean

Adequate to very good, but they should reopen Frank’s Restaurant to the public because their food and service was great! The maids could’ve cleaned the rooms better, and there were several days when they didn’t change the bedsheets or give clean towels. Also, they didn’t refill the soap dispensers. We also saw crumbs on the carpet—a lot! The water pressure in the sink is terrible, water hardly comes out, and when it does it can get scalding hot. But management was very friendly, especially during all that movie shooting.

I recently sustained an ankle fracture and requested a ground floor room. The staff was accommodating and assisted with our luggage. The property is in a convenient location in Burbank.

Great customer service and location!

Front desk staff were extremely kind and helpful. Property clean. Little noisey at night but to be expected as its on a busy street. Close to restaurants..walking distance. Hotel is a hot spot for filming so that was pretty cool! All in all great stay. Will be staying again soon!

This was a convenient, affordable location for us. The room was clean and large. When they found out it was our honeymoon, they gave us a room with a king size bed and a Jacuzzi tub. Parking was right outside our room, and we felt the area was safe and nice. We were within walking distance to several restaurants. This was only a three minute drive to the Warner Brothers studio tour. On the property is an actual old-fashioned diner that is used monthly for various movie settings.

A movie shoot was somewhat disruptive but exciting.

There was a odor that was hard to describe, maybe musty. Staff was great though. Motel a bit out dated.

Everything perfect

Good price hotel with some food options around it. There’s a 1 or 2 dollar bus that will take you to universal at the bottom of the hill or Warner brothers. The one dollar bus is an express one that has fewer stops and takes you inside the station while the 2 dollar bus drives you on the outside of the street so pay attention. Coffee all day and a good variety of breakfast options. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

Beautifully renovated very comfortable beds hot showers great day right next to Hollywood icon filming restaurant!

Location is really good - easy connection to freeway, close distance to WB Studios (~2 mi - good for walking), Griffith park (15 min by car). Few restaurants and shops in close proximity. Rooms were clean, bed quite comfy. Breakfast included but rather small seating space. Very good value for money in LA metro area. AC needs cleaning, investment in sound insulation from street traffic would be good. TV w/o smart apps, but internet connection was really fast and reliable.
