Safari Inn Burbank/Universal, a Coast Hotel

The stay was fine but I think the rooms could be cleaner. The floors should be well mopped and the toilet scrubbed. They should also keep the parking lot washed down, there were areas of someone's vomit and food drppings. The pool area needs at least one umbrella. Other than that it's located close to restaurants and shopping.

Overall a very cute place to stay. King suite room was like a mini apartment. Lots of room and a full kitchen. Parking was extremely tight. If you have a large vehicle or truck be ready for that. They could use some black out curtains on their windows. To much sunlight coming in. And the kitchen AC unit did not blow out cold air. It was a 20-25 minute drive to downtown LA. So it served its purpose for us. Would stay there again if we were in a pinch for a room close to LA.

Had a great stay. Place was cozy and such friendly staff. We loved the ability to use transportation from the hotel to Universal! Easy to schedule and appreciated the flexibility in available pick up and drop off times.

This place was a pleasant surprise! We stayed here while visiting Universal Studios. The room was clean and quiet. The pool was small but all we needed and I loved the patio overlooking the pool. It was a great place to relax and enjoy a meal at the end of the day. The young lady at the front desk was unbelievable! Very knowledgeable about the area and quick to solve any issue.

I like the location and its history

We love staying here for the convenience of the shuttle to take us to Universal. It also has great surrounding places to eat and shop. The only downside was our bathroom had a leaky ceiling that we notified to maintenance and the tv oftentimes glitched.

Fabulous motel near Universal Studios that has old Hollywood vibes. It’s well-maintained, beds are comfy and rooms are clean. Additionally, there’s an awesome coffee machine in the lobby that makes good complimentary lattes and hot chocolate! That’s a definite win:)

The hotel is very nice and well maintained. I love the vintage design and how well they have managed to continue to its original look throughout the years. My room was nice and clean and have no complaints other than the location of the room being close to the elevator and wish the front desk had told me that when checking in. The sound of people coming in and out so early was a little unpleasant. But other than that I did enjoy my stay. I definitely will return, just in another room.

Such a wonderful stay. From check-in to check out, it has become my favorite place to stay. Will definitely be returning. It was clean, in a great area, with a shuttle and the staff were so friendly.

Our first floor room was clean, with newer floors. The staff and shuttle to USH was great and easy to use.

Clean and great stay

What a pleasant surprise to find this iconic motel! vintage vibe with modern rooms, we would definitely book again. Room 225 was super quiet and away from elevator and pool, but Room 218 for my travel partner was next elevator and was noisy through the night and early morning so I would avoid that room.

Classic roadside American Hotel but super clean looks very updated and so quaint. Staff is extremely nice. Would stay again
