Safari Inn Burbank/Universal, a Coast Hotel

We ended up loving the property of course it is such a iconic hotel. It was fun to be somewhere where stars had stayed. It was very central to Warner Brothers Studios. It was actually very central to Hollywood, which is where we ended up a lot of the time in our stay there what we didn’t like was that the beds weren’t comfortable and the sheets were not comfortable. To make this stay much better if they could upgrade the beds and the sheets it would make this hotel incredible.

We were pleasantly surprised by this little motel. It honestly has a lot of character and looks vintage in the outside, room has updated and modern, comfy beds. Pool was good.

Small parking lot- large vehicles shouldn’t be permitted to park in the lot ever.

Well rehabbed motel, clean and comfortable. And a little kitschy.

They were so welcoming when I came in. I really enjoyed my stay, slept well and appreciated how professional and helpful they were.

Especially more tight if you have a large car. Room was clean and spacious, our go to hotel when visiting universal.

Location Rude staff, inaccurate pictures and room descriptions. I left and got a different room elsewhere.

Great place caring staff clean safe rooms

Clean and comfortable w a retro feel! Great location. Parking is an extra fee and they also don’t have an ATM on site. They said that there’s one at their sister hotel next door but there wasn’t.

It was friendly, clean, and inviting. We had a nice time sitting by the pool and relaxing on the deck.

Great staff! Especially Shreya! She was so sweet and helpful. We had a small issue that was completely fixable and she came up to the room and helped us with a smile on her face. My husband also observed her being super gracious and patient with a difficult guests complaints. Our room was cozy. It was very close to universal studios (15min). They have free shuttles but we decided to drive ourselves. One thing is I do wish they had a microwave in the room. But the heated pool more than made up for it. My 10year old was in there both nights we were there! Overall great vacay and we would definitely stay at Safari inn again.

I would definitely stay here again. Great property, clean, safe location, close to everything, and friendly staff. Only issue I had was, the ice machine didn't work but that wasn't that big of a deal. Everything else was great! Highly recommend!
