I am never fan of boutique hotels until now! I love love love this place! The decor is on point, the room is more than amazing, I just wanted to stay in all day, but I was there for a party! The staff are so friendly, when you call for something, the response is so fast! I love everything about this place. Will definitely come back.

Love the free breakfast but the rooms need fixing up, a few bits of peeling paper and the mattresses are really bad. They always put me in the same room even though I’ve asked not to be in that room. Staff a+ property b.

The hotel is significantly overpriced, especially considering the daily junk amenity fees added on top of the room rate. These fees feel unnecessary and misleading, making the overall cost much higher than the advertised price. For what you pay, the value simply isn’t there.

I travel for business, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and quiet are essential to my wellness. I check in on my trips, and as I enter the lounge for a bite and final business for the day, the waitstaff welcomes me back and REMEMBERS my name!!! I LOVE this place. See you next month. Beth

This is my business home away from home. I am absolutely blown away by the care of the staff (who introduce themselves to you right away) and the comfort of the hotel itself. I use the lounge and restaurant downstairs to relax and catch up on work, and the beds are fabulous, comfortable, quiet!!!! Great sleep, great stay every single time. Thank you. See you this Thursday!

A nice little surprise with not knowing anything about the hotel before checking in. Our family needed a place to stay for the night before going to Universal Studios the next day and chose Amarano for its proximity. The best review comes from my 13-year old daughter who is very particular at her young age of the hotels we stay in, She was very happy with all accommodations in this boutiqueish hotel. Very clean, larger than we expected room, upscale decor, friendly staff, and a stylish outdoor heated pool and hot tub area. Continental breakfast can be added that is much better than your expected continental breakfast. Would definitely stay there again if I'm in the area looking for a place. FYI $50/night parking but street parking is available nearby.

I always stay here and I am usually happy with everything. We had dirty sheets and pillows. Long hair and all kind of upset about it

Everything was great, lovely property but breakfast was a faff. For some reason you’re only allowed 2 adults for buffet breakfast even though we had 2 adults and 2 kids in our suite, and they wouldn’t swap my wife’s croissant (egg allergy) for toast? When you’re paying $800 for two nights that’s not much to ask.

The hotel was amazing. The decor and environment was warm, classy and cozy. And so was the staff. I can’t wait to visit again.

We were given the worst room upon checking in. I feel like this is the hotel policy from the onset and they save the better rooms for those that do not come through Hotels.com. As a former travel agent, this is fairly obvious to me. I didn't really care that much, as I was there for a particular affair. The first day, our bathroom sink backed up with some sort of black muck. As much I told them that we needed the room fast to get ready, the hotel dragged their feet about correcting the situation. they eventually changed our room, to a room we should have been given from the onset. I liked the quaint old hollywood style of the hotel, I would have preferred to be treated properly from the onset, then have to go through all of this. Add to this, that the "continental" breakfast was poor at best. The coffee was undrinkable and cold. The staff kept telling me the coffee is hot, but that the cream makes it cold. That also did not set well with me. the coffee was sooooo acidic - not drinkable at all. We could not eat the stale pastries, so we ordered a bagel - $10???? and that was stale too.

everything was just ok
