Hotel Amarano Burbank - Hollywood

Charged me twice and not trying to refund the second charge talking about need to review it when I sent clear screenshots showing 2 charges made. Now I’m out of pocket on my holiday because of their mistake and I’m the one having to chase around. Thieves

Barn door to bathroom was next to impossible to open and close. Cracked makeup mirror. Restaurant was good, small cute but not comfortable seats.

Great place to stay

Great staff, wonderful room, great location and my new go to for my LA trips.

I have no complaints about the facility or staff, but they nickel and dime their guests for every little thing. I tried to pay for all of that before my stay, so I wouldn’t have to worry about extra fees when I got there. Even in doing that, I still had to pay an extra $100 in random fees on the way out the door, I would rather know about all of the inevitable charges and just get them out of the way beforehand than get a surprise going away present in the form of a surprise $100 fee on the way out the door. If it’s something everyone has to pay, not rolling it into the cost of the room is deceptive.

STAFF Very attentive and helpful! Nice lounge, bartender was great, great drinks too I booked an exec king, but at check in the room type wasn't available. But the reception staff was great and managed to get us an ADA king, which was much better for us as my husband is 6'4"

Free continental breakfast that was very good

Okay for a night. Room had a very strange layout with the bed, couch and TV. Neither the bed or couch had a direct view of the TV. Property amenities listed on expedia.com are very out of date. No car service was available as stated on expedia.com. Also valet parking is 50 dollars not 40.

We had an amazing stay here from the moment we arrived to checking out. The staff were so hospitable and friendly. Everyone made us feel so welcomed during our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable. I especially loved the double shower heads and sliding door for the cool weather. It was especially relaxing when we had the sliding door open while it was pouring out. There’s also a 24hr Vons across the street which was super useful. We’re night owls so we were able to buy necessities while we were visiting. I would absolutely book here again. Probably one of the best hotel stay experiences I’ve had.

Clean rooms. Spacious. Quiet. Serene location. Tucked away in residential area. Perfect spot.

We didn’t want to pay for valet, so we parked on the side streets with no problem. Grocery store across the street was open 24 hrs. Would definitely stay again.

Passable

We came for a quick one night stay and had a very pleasant trip. The pool/hot tub were wonderful, and the room service staff were very helpful. Comfy beds, and very clean rooms. There is valet packing only. I’d definitely come back!

And the curtains had some stains on the bottom and me and my wife had some bites on our bodies. The free breakfast was fine and the refillable waters was just a water bottle. Staff was friendly and helpful the valet is a must.

Exceptional

The location is great. Universal is within a reasonable share-driving distance. Don't bother driving there yourself; you'll pay more for the parking. Coffee, supermarket, and food are right across the street, within walking distance. If you're willing to eat on premises, the menu is great, but a bit pricey, in my opinion. Overall, the hotel is not new; however, it has its own vibe, pretending to be stylish. And it is, in a way. The rooms are petite, and the queen beds are for queens to sleep on their own without sharing. A couple of prince/s could fit in the bed if they haven't got into their teenage years yet. I would highly recommend this hotel for a family of four if you can afford a separate room for your kids.

This was my fourth time staying at Amarano. Unfortunately , there was an issue with noise in the room above. But, when I brought it to the attention of the staff (and manager Ethan in particular), they rose to the occasion . They offered to change my room, but I was only staying one night still, they did everything that they could to make it right and I left very pleased. I travel to Burbank often and this is the only place I will stay.
