The Tangerine - A Burbank Hotel

We did consider some of the chain hotels but we are SO glad that we chose not to. This hotel feels more like a community, we got to know some of our neighbours and the staff really well. The room was just what we needed and the location was ideal for the freeway. Not too far to Disney and it’s super cheap for the trip to Universal (around £10/£12) in an Uber. The pool is super handy and we enjoyed having this just near our hotel room where we didn’t have to go through an entire hotel to get set up. The pool was mostly quiet, which meant we had lots of room for a dip. The kids particularly loved the pool and looked forward to coming back at the end of each day. Nice local restaurants. Local to Warner Bros studios (the tour was good). A final bonus was the free parking, of which we managed to find a space daily. Would we come back? Yes, definitely

My first solo stay in a hotel as an adult was at the Tangerine. The beauty of the place matches the beauty in the staff, who are so friendly and accommodating. The rooms are GORGEOUS, and everything was nice and clean and I slept amazingly. Go check out the restaurants nearby, they are all delicious! Especially Ghost Sandwiches and the mexican restaurant next door.

Designated parking and helpful staff greeting us for our first stay here. Usually you can’t get good hotels in LA that has a nice surrounding area, but this location we felt safe even if we were to walk around. Check in was nice and easy, we got our room keys and the rooms were clean and well organized. I just wish there was a working microwave in the rooms but there is one available in the main lobby. Overall, for the amount I paid for a night was definitely worth it and will be back attending here again for our next LA trip.

I was doing a solo trip around California and I was not thrilled with the last hotel that I stayed in, forcing me to switch last minute, I stumbled across the tangerine. The manager was so sweet. I was shook up when I first arrived, and he put me at ease. They accommodated my last minute request to be on the first floor. I felt safe. The staff overall was just very nice and helpful. The hotel was clean and I have never in my life had such an amazing and comfortable comforter in a hotel I give this place 1000 stars. I should’ve asked where they got the blanket from. Aside from the hotel it’s across the street from a really good Italian place and next-door to some other places which made everything very convenient for me. I really enjoyed my last three days in California here.

Warm and friendly staff at the lobby always greeted us with a smile. Very clean room. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

The property is nice and located in a great neighborhood, with lots of good food options. The part that was most amazing about this place was the staff. They were super friendly and helpful, which really stood out in today world. The service was outstanding. Really enjoyed the visit.

She recommended Don Cuco’ Mexican restaurant next door….I am picky about Mexican food and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner! The hotel is simple, clean, and gives a nostalgic Hollywood feel. It is nicely located with several food and coffee options in walking distance. Coffee/latte/tea available free 24 hours. LOVE that they offer Homeboy Bakery pastries every morning for free. I love supporting organizations that are doing good work to lift up others that need a helping hand. And am happy when I see other business, supporting the same causes, spreading the good work! Thank you for a quick get-a-way! By the way, if your trip includes Universal Studios. Uber ride is about 10 minutes and drops you in the preferred parking lot…very close to front gate. Much more affordable than paying for preferred parking!

Even though I was there for one night, the staff was very helpful and my room clean and comfortable. If I need to stay in Burbank for the night again, I will definitely go back there.

Great location, front desk are super friendly and helpful. Made it a point to say the area was safe to walk the neighborhood and I agree. I was out at night at 1030pm getting ice and talking to the front desk, parking lot and walk ways well lite. Coffee and tea in the front desk was a perfect match to morning pasteries. Had good sleep, did not hear neighbors or traffic. AC worked great on a 100 weekend. Will be back.

Had a great stay! The staff were friendly and helpful. The locally made pastry in the morning was a nice treat to start the day. The room was clean and comfortable.

Everything else was convenient my kids loved the direct TV options....except the continental breakfast is deceiving ..... it a box of mixed pastries that they put out from 7-11.... no segregation for nut pastries... if you like crossiant.. there is only 1 in the box and you have to wait another box to open...... would book if I was traveling single.... but not with family.
