Extended Stay America Suites Chicago Burr Ridge

What breakfast????? My friend and I ordered and paid for an acknowledged 2 double bed room and received a room with 1` double bed and no more rooms were available but were told we would get one night stay removed from billing.

The hotel photo that we see at the Expedia are completely different from the actual picture of the room and hotel

I couldn’t even begin to be comfortable during my stay. The fridge was disgusting, coated a brown substance, and unable to be opened. There was a dead roach or bed bug on the floor when I came into the room and the stove was completely rusted over. I stayed for one night and left. Would not recommend this place to anyone traveling nor will I be staying here again.

Dirty rundown property and room. Found door flip lock had been ripped out a few times and screws fall out of lock. Outdated bathroom and filthy. Had kitchen area dirty and faucet dripped all night.

Overall, I would give this hotel 3 out of 5 stars. The room was clean, which I appreciated, but my experience with the front desk staff was not very welcoming. The check-in process took longer than expected, and I didn’t feel that I received good customer service when I arrived. The room itself was fine, but the overall experience could definitely be improved with better and more attentive service at the front desk.

The property its a little neglected in up keep. The rooms did not have a coffee pot. The microwaive was dirty. The room carpet had a lot of stains. The TV had no cable. The hallways and elevator were dirty. Overall bad experience.

This place was totally filthy.

Staff is great!

I enter the room and i saw the refrigerator with full of stain. I tried to change my room but they denied (all rooms are full). I really don’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

The only thing that bothered me was their wire, no shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom so you have to request them from the front desk

Very comfy bed, nice kitchen with microwave and fridge. Stuff is here only for checkin, nobody will help you to open the door or bring suitcase.

Room was clean for the most part, however the floors were sticky. It could have been partially due to the overall humidity. They couldn’t accommodate my King room reservation and they blamed Expedia/Hotels for the inaccurate room availability, but the queen room was adequate. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

Our room smelled like cigarette smoke the whole entire stay, floors were sticky, site says “breakfast included” but no breakfast was served. Pictures only show a granola/coffee bar as their breakfast? Very misleading. Walls and ceilings were very dirty as were the corners in the bathroom.

When we arrived to check the place, the fridge was leaking water. There was bits of hair in the fridge and bathroom. The windows had hand marks and streaks.

The facility is very basic, at least the kitchen had a t-towel. But hardly a welcome feeling…

The girl at the check in desk was super friendly. Period. It all went downhill from there. Outside the property looks fine. Inside it's showing hard use and lack of cleaning care. Dingey at best. The room was downright filthy. Dead bug smeared on the wall in the bathroom as well as other drips and stains that I hope were caused by pets. Bare bolts sticking out of the wall, filthy carpet, cabinets doors that sagged from the hinges if opened, shelf in the closet hanging from one side, refrigerator smudged with grime...pretty deplorable conditions. However...the shower and bed were ok, so if it's the best you can afford, it's a place to sleep. Personally, next time I'll pony up a few more bucks and pass this place by.
