Extended Stay America Suites Chicago Burr Ridge

The staff is very nice. But this is a very basic stay hotel. No water fountains, no ice machine. The breakfast is granola bars, muffins, oatmeal, and coffee.

Coffee was good, our floors were sticky and the bathroom could have been nicer. The elevator was in need of attention gave a horrible first impression

The hotel is in desperate need of an update. I have stayed there twice, and both rooms were run down and shabby. Shabby. Rust in the sink, the edges of the counters missing, rugs a little bit worn. I don't think I will be booking that hotel again in the future. The worst thing was when I checked in, I was given a room that was already occupied. I walked in on a woman in the bathtub. I am not sure who was more shocked, me, or her.

Adequate. A/C clanked like a jack hammer, but I was so tired it didn’t matter.

The room was disgusting. The floors were sticky. The carpets covered in grime. The sink was rusty. The countertop and backsplash had been screwed into place through the Formica and the screws were rusty. The elevator had food and debris on the floor. We planned to stay 3 nights. Instead, we left asap the next morning and ate the cost. anything would be better than this.

Check-in was extremely unorganized and took forever. They didn't allow me or anyone else to check in early, which is fine until you have 20 people in the lobby after 3pm still waiting to be allowed to check in. Took probably 30 minutes after the ladies came to the front desk for me to check in. The room had a broken tv remote so I had to go down and ask for that to be replaced. My room keys stopped working on my second day and I had to go back and forth from the lobby to my room trying to get it fixed 3 times before they fixed it. When we got to the room there was barely any toilet paper left on the only roll they had provided us, all of the surfaces and counters looked like they needed a good cleaning/dusting. The light next to the bed did not work either. The staff was nice besides at check-in.

Very convenient to beginning Route 66 from, as we went downtown Chicago the day before and started Illinois without that downtown hassle! I liked it all.

I didn't like anything. The room was not as described online. The furniture was torn up(holes). Also, there weren't any dishes in the room. The fridge was dirty. The stove was very old and outdated. Nothing was updated in the room. The room was not as described online. I believe AI was used for pictures in order to get people to book.

The bed was comfortable. The room was dirty when I arrived and I spent time cleaning the floor. First I used a swiffer and then wiped up the floor on my hands and knees—it was filthy! There was absolutely no water pressure in the shower which required taking longer showers to get the soap off. The two burners on the cooktop barely worked and took forever just to fry an egg. The place is falling apart. I left one day early and would have left sooner if I wanted to move all my stuff. As an example, on the day I moved in, I asked for a luggage cart to bring in my sewing machine. There was never anyone at the front desk, so I searched someone out who told me someone else was using it. Several hours later, I asked again. No cart to be found. The next day there was still no cart and I carried in a heavy sewing machine and made several trips for my luggage. My third day there they said the luggage cart had been found! Customer service is non existent.

I booked two rooms, one room was fine. The second room had sewer smell in it. It was absolutely awful. I mentioned it to the hotel employee and they said they didn't have other rooms. I had to cover the sink with a towel to stop the smell from suffocating me

Good price point for the location relative to other hotels No internet accessibility in spite of network. LTE signal very weak. Room was dated and in need of some renovation. Towel bar in bathroom fell out repeatedly. Complete lack of outlets by the beds for phones. Breakfast offerings were disappointing.
