Owners were very friendly I felt it was poor value for the money. I paid almost $300/night. Room & bathroom very basic.. No charm, utilitarian. The owners are very friendly but it's not the feel of a B&B, you are renting a room. Old in-the-window air conditioner roared on and off through the night. Had to keep the blinds closed or anyone coming up the steps would be looking at me at the desk. No cleaning for a four night stay. It's help yourself for food in a kitchen you are sharing with the other guests, make your own coffee, toast a bagel, etc. I felt that I should be washing my own dishes. This place is set up for long term renters working at MIT. Would not be my choice for a vacation, and very little service if you're visiting for work.

Very convient to get around, amazing location! The room was comfortable, and there an espresso machine in the kitchen!

Really nice and positive place. Family run hotel. Like home, a summer home, away from home.

Nothing Filthy establishment. Mould around the shower- a terrible health hazard. Now I am sick from being there. Paint peeling off the bathroom ceiling. Rust on radiator. Filthy sink. Wood peeling off cabinets. Crude wiring. Not touched since the 1970s. I paid almost $1,400 for 4 days (21-25 May) during graduation week at Harvard. That’s the same amount as a decent hotel. What a nerve!

Fantastic position. Well-furnished room and great shared facilities. Marco is very friendly, and we had great conversations.

Loved the place and lovedvthe owner Marco! Very attentive but not intrusive. As a parent leaving a freshman at MIT this place was amazing! We were at walking distance to everything we or our new-dorm- resident- son may need. Very recomended. Important to know, this is not an hotel, but it have all you may need.

-lots of great complimentary snacks and drinks -felt like staying at an Airbnb -the room could be a little cleaner
-
Excellent, the hosts are very kind, and there's an all-you-can-eat bar!! The location is perfect and close to the T-line subway. It definitely will be the hum whenever I visit Cambridge, Boston.

The experience is more like an airbnb than a hotel, but it comes with the bonus that you can rely on the owners for help as needed, they are very kind and helpful. The amenities are simply those of a private house. In practice it's well arranged so you can rely on privacy and quiet.

Mark was very welcoming and accommodating. Great place to stay at.

The breakfast choice was amazing. Marc who runs the inn is most personable and friendly. If you have reason to be near MIT this place is great. If not, there is still Marc. He calls himself the innkeeper but I secretly call him Mr Thénardier – but he does not charge "3% percent for sleeping with the window shut"!. Would definitely stay there again! Extension cords would be useful so that I could charge my phone on bedside table, for easy access to my phone whilst I charge it overnight.

Absolutely excellent location for a business trip to MIT, Harvard, Boston University, which us what I was doing during my stay. Facilities great, access to fully equipped kitchen was very handy.
-
Great location.... Close to transit and restaurants. Marc the host kept communal kitchen well stocked and even made pancakes and cookies for guests. Room was very comfortable and we enjoyed staying there very much. Everything was fine!!

And most importantly, the price is relatively low for this area. And there is no compromise on quality at all.
