The Cape Ray resort was great. Expedia was not good. Don’t be fooled if they put a 3 nights free parking banner on your booking. The hotel does not offer free parking and Expedia won’t honor it either.

Property was very nice but restaurant was nice but odd variety of food.

Our stay is always comfortable at Cape Rey. We have found that the room attendant and housekeeping is not as attentive on our last couple of visits. We did not get room service two days and had to request it and was difficult to get more pillows.
-
A mediocre business hotel environment pretending to be a beach resort. Rooms have all the grace of a holiday inn express with old air conditioning so load we couldn’t sleep.
-
Didn’t reserve a room for the mobility challenged but received one. Not too big of a deal but the sink space is very limited. I wasn’t asked if this was ok. Didn’t notice until after we unpacked.

Great Experience...
-
The stay was awesome friendly staff but I think we stayed in a room where animals would stay due to a pee stain on the wall and AC wasn’t working well but overall I give it a 7/10 the pool was amazing and beautiful view staff was helpful
-
I enjoy Chandler and sitting outside to watch the sunset and listening to live music NA

The property was beautiful and the staff was great. Rooms were average. When deciding to stay there be aware of the hidden fees. You pay for parking...$40 a night. You pay for "resort fees"... $35 a night (beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, and shuttles). The beach directly in front of the hotel is loaded with huge rocks. If you want a sandy beach you have to drive further away from the resort and hope you get there early enough because you may not find parking. As nice as the hotel was, for the price, I probably would have stayed somewhere closer to a better beach.

Clean room, lovely property. Close to all amenities.
-
If your room faces the pool it is loud at night and in the morning. Our air went out but it was fixed in less than 2 hours and cooled off quickly.

We booked two night Friday to Saturday. We couldn’t arrive Friday so we called and talked to the front desk and then got transferred to a manager. Assured us we can just arrive on Saturday. When we arrived Saturday for a wedding about 4:00 the front desk person told us they had no rooms available. This front desk person was the same person we spoke to on Friday. He did not know what happened. Than 1 manager came up to us and stated that someone had dropped the ball and they did not check us in on Friday after we called. They gave us a double bed but we wanted a king room like we had already paid for and were entitled to it. We paid over $800 which we understood was essentially one night but we wanted what we paid for. Than they transferred us to another handicap approved room. Which was fine. The room was VERY warm but we just assumed because the room needed the AC to be turned on. We turned on the system (so we thought) and left for our friends wedding reception. When we came back for the night which was about 11:45, the room was still very hot. We tried to make the thermostat work but nothing. We called front desk to see if they can give us another room and nothing. She brought us a fan but did not help because I’d was about 90 degrees in that room with no air. I can’t imagine why the ac would not be working in a handicap approved room. We were completely disappointed with the stay and would not stay again.
