Carlsbad Seapointe Resort

Check in process was easy, our room was spotless, plenty of amenities to utilize, perfect location on Fremont, dinner at SaltGrass was amazing due to perfectly cooked meals and service, bed made for great nights of sleep and our room view was gorgeous

Adult pool was nice. Overall the resort was dated and bed was uncomfortable. Nice location.

From the moment you check in staff is very friendly. Our room felt homie and kids were comfortable with the stay and loved the view of the ocean.

Really well maintained property. Great amenities. My kids absolutely loved all the activities (kite flying, make your own soda, duck race etc.) Staff were really friendly and helpful. Amazing location right by the beach (walkable) and within a short drive of shops and restaurants. All the facilities were well maintained. We enjoyed the pools, game room and the pickleball and basketball courts. The free pool towels, wine and cheese were a nice extra. We will definitely be back!

Clean rooms would book a stay again

Mini golf course needs maintainence.

We especially appreciated the heated family pool, warm enough to enjoy in the evening hours, and spacious jacuzzi. The 2-bedroom + 2 bathroom condo was very spacious, functional, and clean. May not be ideal for light sleepers as it’s right next to the train track, but it didn’t bother us and provided extra entertainment for train-loving toddlers.

The location was nice. However the property was a little loud. You could hear other guest above and below you and the commuter train runs behind the property.

Beautiful location.

Paid in full via Expedia before arrival and was supposed to only pay daily resort fees at property. Front desk billed me IN FULL again upon arrival, even though I questioned it that had already paid when booked and they credited my card back after checkout. Poor business practice to be double billed and then refund credit card back! Property needs updating - kitchen appliances were in poor shape, carpet was old and worn and several cosmetic items/poor maintenance. Microwaveable popcorn gift in kitchen was expired over 5 months ago, living room furniture was filthy, and unknown person’s hair in main bathroom upon arrival. Extremely noisy in unit (no insulation between floors) and train noise from outside. For a short trip (3 nights) wasn’t worth complaining about - just won’t be staying here again. Positives: Great location by beach and most everything you need in short driving distance. 2 bedroom has 2 full bathrooms and is very spacious.

I absolutely adore children and laughter however, this is my relaxing vacation so this location was not ideal for us. I requested a room on a second floor but there weren’t any available at the time so we spent our time inside with the slider door shut. A high price to pay for a nursery, I did not enjoy the location of my room. The property and surroundings are well maintained, the staff are accommodating and manage the front desk very well. The kitchen was well appointed. This room would be ideal for a family with kids, kiddie pool, splash fountain and putting green right there in front of you!
