Passable

The facilities were great, and the rooms were large and clean. We enjoyed the barbecues, pools and spa (the family spa was not working however we were advised the kids could use the adult spa during our stay). The location was quite isolated, there was nothing nearby really that we could work to except for the beach which was actually quite difficult to get to (a lot of stairs up and down the cliff to actually access the beach if you don’t drive over).

Location was amazing. Facilities were fun and there was something for everyone to do. Rooms were clean but the surrounding areas could use some care.

The rooms are nice and spacious and The View is unbeatable. The staff is always very pleasant and courteous and helpful.

Great place to stay , the elevator being down was my only disappointment . Wish it wasn’t . Also asked for a late check out and it was denied

Our hotel room was clean, the front desk texted us every night to check if we needed anything which was nice because we needed sheets for the pullout bed. There were some obvious signs of aging but nothing we couldn’t look past. The onsite laundry was nice to have, credit card operated and only $2/cycle. We had a full kitchen which you’ll need since there is no restaurant on site and everything generally closes early around 9pm. Having a BBQ and common outdoor seating area was great for home cooked meals! Check out Windmill Food Hall for quick bites and better than fast food. The hotel was very close to the beach, just a 5 minute walk and the sunsets were amazing. The hotel had free boogie boards for body surfing, that was a blast with the waves. The hot tub was not hot. Was looking forward to relaxing my muscles after a long beach day. Maybe the weather being hot most of the time, nobody would use the pool. The mini golf course needs a good manicure. The grass was too thick to play. The rest of the grounds were well maintained! Access to volleyball, basketball, pickleball was really great for my busy boys. My teenager took full advantage of the workout room and my boys loved playing ping pong and pool. The arcade was available but kiddos didn’t want to pay. It was lovely to wake up and sit on my balcony with my coffee. Overall, it was a nice quiet, peaceful, and unexpected gem.

Front desk staff were very friendly and got us checked in quickly. Our room was clean and nice, but small. We had a 1 bedroom with separate living room & kitchen area. The kitchen area was very small and the round dining table was crowded. Refrigerator was a good size and dishwasher was great. Very little kitchen counter space. The paper towel holder was on the counter, which could be mounted on the wall to give more counter space. The bedroom was small and had a very tiny closet and not much drawer space for clothes. We were on the first floor and the kiddie play area was right in front of our room, but honestly not many kids were playing on it. So it wasn't really too disturbing. Overall, we enjoyed our week at Carlsbad Seapoint Resort. The beach/ocean is right across the street. A short walk from the resort. Very nice grassy areas to have family gatherings, with picnic tables and BBQs. The main town/shopping area is a short drive down the road, maybe 5 miles. Lots of restaurants. Be aware of time limits on parking. Would highly recommend this resort and we would return if we come back to Carlsbad.

This location was nicer than expected. They had different events for guests every night we were there including s'mores outside and a movie night. They also offer free use of towels, chairs, and boogie boards for use on the beach. The fireplace was a nice touch in the room and it had a good variety of cooking utensils, pots and pans for longer stays. I highly recommend this location.

it was close to the beach, and family, friendly, very relaxing The first point of contact who was the first person I chatted with was somewhat unpleasant and I felt shut out or shut down a little. Almost like I was talking to someone that thought I was stupid and honestly, my questions were pretty basic but normal for somebody who had never been there before i.e.. questions about parking and pool towels. Other than that front desk guy all of the other people I came in contact with were wonderful. especially the cleaning staff. They were great and kind.

Everyone there are so nice and accommodating. We've been going there for a few years now and always enjoy our stay for the most part.

Rooms were clean and wells stocked. Would have preferred the front desk store for convenience purchase had more options. Quick walk to the beach which also wasn’t too busy due to location. Would absolutely stay again

We were only there for one night and everything seemed fine however, there were small things that you noticed like stains on the sofa and dust on some of the furniture feel like it wasn’t properly cleaned or it’s just old and they need to replace some things. Otherwise it was a good stay my only other annoyance was housekeeping kept knocking on our door the morning that we were checking out before our checkout time I mean, they were relentless. They knocked three times and we told them yes we know we are packing up and checking out.

Everything was just as we expected! Wonderful staff, amazing resort, and beautiful views!

Check in process was easy, our room was spotless, plenty of amenities to utilize, perfect location on Fremont, dinner at SaltGrass was amazing due to perfectly cooked meals and service, bed made for great nights of sleep and our room view was gorgeous

Adult pool was nice. Overall the resort was dated and bed was uncomfortable. Nice location.

From the moment you check in staff is very friendly. Our room felt homie and kids were comfortable with the stay and loved the view of the ocean.
