I love the location, the room, the breakfast. It is a great place with easy access to all of our favorite places. This is our 6th time staying and we will return.

We really enjoyed staying at this property. The location was so close to the beach and Legoland that it provided a relaxing location for our stay. It was nice to have such a nice pool area. Breakfast was a bonus but definitely busy - you know how people can get with free waffles.

Pool and hot tub were great lots of space to hang out, family friendly! Room had kitchenette! Great Beach Hotel!

The only change I would like to see is a better couch. The one there is shallow and suitable for short term seating. If it were upgraded to a pull out couch or even a more traditional couch, it could be utilized as a sleeping area.

The property is close to the beach, Legoland, and many food options. The rooms have a lot of wear and tear.

The Front Desk guy was really nice and tried to be accommodating to the best of his Ability My feet stuck to the carpet it was so dirty. Even with the windows closed the freeway noise was so loud.

This is a somewhat run down Best Western in need of some upgrading. Also a place where large families stay so not very quiet. The location is close to the state beach which is nice but a ways from downtown Carlsbad. The staff are friendly.

Nice pool area. AC was very loud and old. Breakfast very poor and the staff in the breakfast room were rude!

Staff was friendly. Good location. Rooms need serious attention. Room was not ready when we checked in. Our room had ripped curtains, phone did not work, bathroom sounded like construction workers were on the clock, entrance frame door was broken.
