La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Carlsbad - Legoland Area

Staff was friendly and helpful. There was a pretty good variety of food at breakfast. The day to day cleaning was good but the room fixtures and finishes were showing wear and tear.

Staff was very friendly, breakfast had a great variety. And the rooms were exceptionally clean. I will definitely stay here on our next visit.

Great hotel when visiting Legoland!

Our whole stay was amazing i loved our suite so spacious and clean exactly what I was looking for, the breakfast was amazing, very nice and clean area I loved how close everything was and I just loved my entire experience thank you all !

Our stay was amazing, staff were friendly and breakfast was amazing. The studio room had more than enough space for our lil family with refrigerator and microwave included.

The worst part of our stay was the noise. A group of boys in a nearby room spent most of the night screaming, repeatedly yelling racial and offensive slurs. It kept my toddler awake, and none of us were able to get a good night's sleep, it continued for hours. The following morning, we spoke with the front desk, and the employee we encountered was dismissive and had an unprofessional attitude. There was little empathy for what we had experienced. To make matters worse, the hotel only refunded us for the cheaper night of our stay, not the night when the noise kept us awake and ruined our experience. Refunding the less expensive night felt like a way to minimize the compensation rather than fairly address what happened. Between the filthy room, the terrible odor, the lack of overnight enforcement, poor customer service, and the inadequate resolution afterward, this stay was extremely disappointing. I hope management takes these concerns seriously because no family should have this kind of experience when paying for a hotel stay.

The breakfast had a great variety of choices from cereal, oatmeal. Eggs, sausage patties, country potatoes, pastries, waffles. Juices and coffee.

Great hotel for a family with kids. Close to the beach and Legoland.

Things were good and this place is good for families.

The front desk staff was NOT very customer friendly aside from the General Manager Dimitar whom I did meet until check out time. The buffet breakfast was adequate, area was very clean & the kitchen staff worked hard to keep everything replenished.

Did not like personnel at 2am in the morning asked me to go down to confirm a reservation I made for a family's friend, even thought the night before I advised them, they simply forgot to add notes on the reservation

I literally got bit all over by bed bugs! I am in shock. After the first night I didn’t think anything, but after 3 nights of more and more bites each morning I’m horrified!

Good place to stay.

The breakfast was so amazing and so many different options. We also loved the pool, I could not get my child out he enjoyed it so much. There was nothing that we didn't like it was an amazing experience. The only thing that I can maybe thing about is having to go all the way to the ice machine because that was not close to us

Overall good experience

My first impression of the hotel was average until I made it into my room. As it was so close to the freeway the noise from it was uncomfortably loud and as soon as I checked in I asked for another room. The desk person was not able to accommodate the request because we booked through hotels.com which I think is a terrible reason. I was very disturbed by the freeway noise it woke me up during the wee hours of the morning. We were not able but use the jacuzzi because it was tepid, that was another disappointment with the hotel. The one redeeming quality was that they had a pretty decent hot breakfast available with a lot of options.
