Grand Pacific Palisades

The location for Legoland access is incredible. Karl Strauss is a great restaurant to grab a bite at as well. Our room was spacious and had amenities that are easy to forget while traveling. The front desk was very pleasant and accommodating. The beer at the top bar was nice and cold, and the views were great even though the hillside is currently all dirt. Parking was great! Bed was firm but comfortable. Short driving distance to moonlight beach. Nothing huge to complain about. Noise was something you’d expect by an amusement park geared for kids. Overall wasn’t super loud but being the the bottom level, and having a front door that didn’t seal Correctly (latched loosely and could see daylight around 3 sides of it) didn’t do us any favors. It’s bearable as long as you’re prepared for it. We had our own kids making noise so don’t want to be hypocritical.

The hotel should have music in the hotel lobby restaurant/bar and pool area for customers to enjoy hanging out in those areas. Thank you Grand Pallisades! We enjoyed our stay!

Great place for families

We were at the hotel for the Fourth of July weekend and we love Grand Pacific Palisades. We hope to coming back soon 😊.

This place definitely wasnt the worst, but it really needs some TLC. Our biggest issue though was that the supervisor (Naz) who checked us in told us that the childrens splash pad and pool area were closed for filter cleaning when we checked in on Tuesday, but that it would be open the next morning. So with this information we planned to have a resort day the following day and save our final day Thursday at Legoland so we could enjoy that area along with the rest of the amenities/ activities the resort had to offer. But the next morning that area that was closed remaind closed and when I called Naz at the front desk she said it would soon be opened up and that they were just doing the finishing touches. Hours later we get a text message saying the pool area would not be opened after all today (Wednesday) and that it wouldn't be open till Thursday morning. This made us very upset because had she told us the truth from the beginning we would of gone to Legoland on Wednesday instead while they were still working on that pool area. Then left Thursday as our resort day to enjoy the kids pool area. We did end up going to the pool area on Thursday after our Legoland trip but it was already very late in the evening and the kids at that point were shivering within 5 minutes of been in the pool and splash pad area. When I checked out on Friday morning I told them how upset I was and it seemed like they did not care on making things right. Won't ever be going to this resort ever again.

Very spacious rooms and great service. Very family friendly, kids loved it! the twin full bed was very sinking in, woke up with back ache. However the twin fill and queen were nice beds :)

The place was fine but it says it’s a four star hotel and I would say it’s more 2 star. The splash pad and playground were very worn down. The hotel room is very spacious and clean but cheap feeling. The four start rating is a stretch.

Great stay...Everyone was friendly and helpful. Clean and well kept property. Pool was a little cold for our taste. But overall great!

Stayed at GPP with my kids (3 and 1). We stayed in a 2bd unit which was really nice for privacy and comfort. The room was generally pretty clean but a bit outdated. The floors were laminate and raised/chipping in certain areas, causing hazards for kids. We notified the reception and they sent maintenance up to tape down the affected areas and claimed they’re updating the floors room by room. The pool area was really fun with a splash pad and an adjacent playground. The pool maxes out at just under 5 feet so it’s easy to swim with your kids. The only complaint I have is that the deck is very slippery. Kids were slipping and falling left and right. I had to walk very carefully and slowly to avoid slipping. Luckily my kids had water shoes on with grip so they were fine. Other than that, it was a great resort and we’d visit again.

Great kids pool with splash pad and playground. Great location within walking distance to Legoland. Wonderful room for traveling with small kids - full kitchen, pull out sofa bed, large bathroom, and separate bedroom.

Enjoyed are stay family staycation - Kids pool, playground, Adult pool and firepit s'mores - Used to come here years ago with my friends timeshare. You can see they have not maintained it well. The bathroom flooring had tape holding down the tile, the property used to be very clean - leaves everywhere - no one cleaning them up. The foam in the kids water park and playground very warn - There were used band-aids around the kids pool. Since they were there all weekends it indicates they were not doing a good cleaning in the kids pool. Watching the kids have fun was enjoyable. I will probably be back again, because overall it is a fun place for the kids. Just hoping they pay for more staff to attend to the details.

Great place to stay when visiting Legoland if wanting to stay off property but within walking distance. Very short walk that is mostly shaded. My kids loved the family pool and the splash pad/playground areas. It was spacious and clean, a great home base for the week. We drove a (low roof) ford transit van and were able to park easily in the garage (which staff stated was 7’ but we were still a bit nervous about prior to arrival). The resort offers several activities every day in case there are pockets of free time you are wanting to fill, and you are able to borrow beach toys, towels, etc. as needed.

The resort was very nice. We did not use any of the amenities as we only stayed one night due to a conference and the location close to the venue. The room and staff were very helpful, rooms are large and clean. Furnishing we nice however, the fixtures could use dusting and the first floor windows had spiderwebs. Unfortunately we could hear running in the room above until 10:30 pm.l called the front desk around 8:30 pm and they call them. But since it was not 10 PM, they could not enforce anything until 10. After 10:30 ish and a second call the running stopped.So if you are an earlly to bed, and dont like runners above you, ask for top floor.

This resort if very family friendly.

Clean good customer service

We got to use the pool after 10am checkout. They have showers in the gym area. Showers had some bugs in it, but overall place is really nice.
