Hotel Solea, Autograph Collection

Getting our car parked by the valet was incredibly hard as they generally were not there. The Westin shares staff and would leave the soleo unattended. Our car was left unlocked. The housekeeping was fine but forgot to restock coffee and drinks. Not enough towels. Almost no amenities beyond shampoo, conditioner, body wash. The bill as the end did not include a total. When I asked they said they don’t do that? Honestly, the property was aesthetically very nice and extremely family friendly. But I’d never stay again. I’ve never felt so forgotten or frustrated staying anywhere. FYI the gym at Weston shares with Solea so that was one nice thing to visit both gyms.

Our stay was absolutely great, from the staff, service, food, kids clubs activities, pool and drinks! The beds and pillows very comfortable! Also great view! Cant wait to stay there again!

The establishment exudes an inviting ambiance, with both interior and exterior elements exuding a sense of modernity and aesthetic appeal. The room and bathroom are generously sized, providing ample space for comfort and relaxation.

Slow check-in, excerise room is minimal

We walked into our room and upon arrival after a long day we come in and the whole room is turned upside down and looked like a construction zone, a ladder a vacuum in the middle of the room, the Ac hatch open, and when we went down to the reception to speak to the manager we were told there hotel was full and no other rooms, eventually we got another smaller room with one bed instead of two like we ordered

The room was clean and nice, but not as pictured. The sofa was actually a small ottoman, so it didn’t sleep 3 as represented. They did send up a complimentary cot, but that clutters the room and isn’t the same. The front desk was kind and helpful, and the pool was great. The dining staff, however, was terrible. The barista didn’t know how to make an americano, took 10 minutes to fill a black coffee, and only had whole milk. We ate dinner in the restaurant, and I’m a vegan, so I asked the server for a recommendation. He suggested a pasta, to which I asked if they were made with egg or prepped with butter. “Yeah, they’re made with egg and the cooks start each dish with butter. Is that not ok?” I asked him to just ask the chef for a recommendation, as it seemed he wasn’t familiar with the menu or what a vegan is. He came back with notes from the chef, recommending the steak with no butter or the branzino with no cheese. (!!!) I explained again that vegans don’t eat meat, fish, egg, or dairy. In SoCal, every hotel and restaurant has SOME option for a vegan dish, and this bewildered response was disappointing. We were on vacation with friends, so I ended up ordering takeout and eating it at the table while the other 7 people in our party ate the restaurant’s food. (I also got my DoorDash quicker than they got their meals.)

Beautiful rooms and property. Great location. The complimentary shuttle service was really helpful, taking us to anywhere within 5 miles which made it really easy to get to the beach and town.

The only negative thing was the room wasn't ready at check-in time. We had to wait 2 hours.

Definitely recommend. The only down fall was the view of the parking lot from our balcony. Besides that everything else was great.

Staff was amazing. Hotel rooms were nice and cleaned. Beds were more on the not so comfy side (too worn out). Restaurant on site TERRIBLE! My husband and 3kids walked in for dinner. They said wait was 10-15 min. Ok fine, we waited, about 1 hour & there were only 2-3 tables with customers ( inside) plus more in outside patio bar. My point is we waited for a while past 9pm & they couldn’t sit us down. We walked out dissatisfied! Terrible customer service!!! We ended up ordering room service because it was too late to head out somewhere.

Everything was up to par. The rooms were very nice and spacious. Bring water bottles, there’s no store.
