Carolina Beach Inn

They provide street parking but with everyone trying to park along the street going to the beach it was hard to find parking. The room only had one set of outlets to plug in phones and stuff which were hard to reach.

After walking around the room in bare feet (after showering), we found our feet to be filthy. Apparently the floor had not been mopped between guests. Housekeeping came and mopped when we contacted them about it. We were also planning to use the sofa bed but it was literally just fabric over springs and thus unusable. It was also clear that it hadn’t been cleaned in awhile as it had hairs and food crumbs on the bedding that had probably fallen down through the couch cushions. On a positive note, it’s conveniently located and they provide beach chairs, towels and umbrellas.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. Clean and cozy. Great communication and free parking too!

For the porch queen room we stayed in, when you opened the door it hit the bed, so you had to walk thru to the side of the bed then close the door. The fan was very very noisy, which was needed because you don’t have access to adjust the temperature in your room.

Place was well kept and staff were excellent. Although they didn't have a check in office, they responded in a timely manner. Parking in front of the building is not guaranteed.

My daughter and I loved everything about this inn! Can't wait to go back!

Property was good for the two nights we stayed. It could use a little maintenance, and it was mostly very clean, except for a dirty washcloth left in the shower and a little hair around the drain. The sink was very slow to drain, but it was a nice little room for just a couple of nights. The Keurig coffee maker in the common area was great- and they provide the coffee, sugar/sweetner, creamer (we did bring our own cream), and there are dog treats and bins with lots of personal items that someone might need- razors, etc. The room had a little refrigerator and microwave. The main entrance has a lock that you enter a code to unlock, and the battery died one of the evenings we stayed, but I texted the number that we received with our check-in instructions, and they got right on it and had it working again within a relatively short time. Communication was very good and we had a nice stay.

Nice place right at the boardwalk

Location was nice. Facility was very clean. Porches were nice. The room was nice. The main issue was the air conditioner which was placed in between our heads in the bed. Couldn’t turn it off as it was too hot and humid. Changing the vents didn’t help. It ran off and on all night and blew directly on our heads. I developed a sinus headache and we had to leave.

It was very clean and decorated with beach vibe! We enjoyed our stay and we will be back!

A coffee maker and coffee/creamer would have been a nice touch and the ability to open the room door all of the way…the bed was in the way of the door. I’d rather be able to open the door to the room with no trouble and the bed turned the other way so it was slightly blocking the doors to the shared porch instead.

The location is perfect for the area! Walking distance from the beach, boardwalk, restaurants and bars. Room is small but has everything you need. Everything was clean and contactless. A code for the room was sent to my phone making check in and out easy.

I like that you didn’t have to talk to anybody to check in. I liked the coffee bar area and it was stocked with everything you would need for your stay, including feminine products, razors, things for your fur babies, etc.. Parking was awful. No balcony. No pool on property. The yard wasn’t fenced in for dogs.

The location was amazing! We walked everywhere we needed to go. I can’t think of anything we didn’t like.

What a fun and unique little place to stay. Great location. Only complaint was the pull out sofa. You could feel the springs in the mattress. I felt bad having my kids sleep there. It would have been a really issue if it were adults.

The queen rooms shower head was dirty and coming out the wall. We had to keep pushing it back in so it didn’t fall on us. It definitely needs to be replaced the nozzle has crust all around from hard water and being rusted and old. The toilet paper was very hard and cheap. The AC was going in and out. We stayed here before but in a bigger room, but this time was terrible we ended up leaving early. The showers are extremely small hard to move around and get really clean. The location is convenient but I wouldn’t stay here again. Definitely needs to be remodeled and up to date. It’s clean, just old and outdated needs to be updated.

Great location! Very comfortable beds and pillows. Very clean room. Easy speeches in!
