The Beach House

The balcony was too hot since the wind from the sea was blocked. Something that needs to be corrected. The insects come inside when the light is on during the evening or night. Bed was too old and dips in when we lay down. Lot of smoke smell even though it is a smoke free, management should advice people and staff to not smoke in campus at all.

The location is great, right on the beach with ocean views. The pool is small but clean and comfortable. The room was large, comfortable and clean. The bed was not comfortable for me. The air conditioning unit is very loud. I stayed on the bottom floor and I could hear every movement from the room above me. Overall, not a bad experience. A good place for small children and within walking distance of several good restaurants and bars as well as the attractions at the boardwalk

Nice area, no workers, old refrigerator smelled and no couch or anything to sit on except bed and table chairs.

The floors were very warped. The walls had foot and hand prints all over them. The oven was wobbly and unsafe and disconnecting from the electrical panel. The fan moved whenever the light switch went on or off. The corner our room was in wasn't lit up at all and we could barely see to get into our room the nights of check in. Management said they would have someone fix it the next day and then they didn't. Towels didn't pickup everyday like they say they do. It also smelled like mildew out entire stay. There's a tv complimentary but didn't have many options to watch anything. The outlets were nowhere near the two beds so charging devices at night was a hassle.

207 steps from the room to the beach. Would definitely stay here again. Kitchen was nice to have. Coffee maker was weird and I wish there was a toaster. But other that it was a good overall experience. Hoping to come back for a long weekend soon.

We absolutely loved staying at The Beach House. The access to the beach was right at the condo. Parking was limited and really small parking spots which made it impossible for bigger vehicles to park next to each other. They do have additional parking. The only con was the parking situation. Our room was spacious, cold and perfect. The first floor has no view of the beach or ocean due to sand pits but we didn't care. Everything is walkable from the condo. We parked our car and never drove it until we were leaving to go home. We will stay here the next time we go to Carolina Beach.

Convenient location for walking to restaurants, coffee, sweet spots, bars, fireworks on Thursday nights during the summer. Nice to have a per night rental option. First floor rooms do not have a clear view of the ocean. The property is old and has a musty smell. Unfortunately, our room was not as clean as we had hoped. Beds were comfortable!

I'm going to start with the staff. I would give them 10 STARS if I could!! We needed a few things during our stay and they were there with them within minutes. Love that. The room was very clean upon arrival and it was perfect for what I was looking for. The only complaint that I would have is that the flooring needs some attention. There were certain spots where it was coming up and very sharp to step on barefooted. Other than that, not one single complaint. We will be staying at The Beach House again.

We stayed here for my son's 10th birthday and it was truly an amazing experience! The rooms were cleans and the view was amazing! The staff were helpful and available to help with any questions we had. We will definitely be returning!

The room was very big and the staff was very nice and responsive through text. We really enjoyed sitting out on the balcony and listening to the waves. It was very nice to be so close to the beach without the crazy prices of the hotels.

Room was clean, love the full kitchen, bathroom was nice and spacious. Motel was clean and new towels were provided quickly, trash picked to swiftly. Staff responded to questions and messages quickly. Beds were comfortable, balcony was spacious with beach views and it was very quiet. We never heard our neighbors and got very restful sleep. A/C was very efficient and we were always nice and cooled. Water pressure and temp were also great, and tv was responsive with access to multiple apps (with it own subscriptions). Parking was convenient and overflow parking was across the street/pool, 30 seconds from the property. Great for families, couples, friends groups. If you want a predictable, convenient and comfortable stay; this is your place.

It was right on the beach and a very short walk to the boardwalk. Perfect spot for a little vacation.

This was our 1st time at Carolina Beach... Just Beautiful and Peaceful.. We absolutely Loved it.. Hotel and staff were amazing

We were offered a room switch, but it wasn't available until after 1 pm. We smelled the new room before accepting and agreed to move. Later, my daughter found feces on the toilet seat, which she cleaned. I travel with my own cleaning supplies. I have a medical condition requiring daily infusions, and I did not feel the environment was safe to do them in. We checked out at 11 am the next day, canceling our final night as we would have to switch rooms again. We didn't want to have to deal with another cleaning experience. Walking past 203 while they were "deep cleaning," the urine smell made me gag. I came home sicker than when I left for what was supposed to be a restful trip with my daughter before she returns to college. The ocean was the only good part of an otherwise ruined stay, and based on my stay, I'm unable to recommend The Beach House to anyone who values health and cleanliness. I did receive a refund for the 3rd night that I cancelled, but now that I'm home in a flare, paying for a night the room made me sicker seems unfair. Lesson learned: pay the extra to cancel so we could've left the 1st night with a full refund.
