Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Medford-Central Point by IHG

Lots of road noise. Garbage in front was overflowing. Asked for 2 extra pillows never got them. The entrance road was busy with semis. Room was clean so was the lobby and breakfast area. Was disappointed and won't stay there again.

Toilet was not working

I was unable to connect to the Wi-Fi the front desk gave me the wrong information. the remote didn't work and the bathroom needed to be cleaned

This was my second stay in the past three years and a little has changed. The room, property all was as expected, I enjoyed the stay, close to mall, shopping and places to eat, one small problem, my key card to room and access to the hotel, didn’t work properly. I had to swap at least ten times or more to get in. My room was on the back side, first floor, so I parked on the side, which meant I had to walk or drive around to front entrance in order to get in. I finally, on day two, when my card would not let me into the laundry room, go to front desk to complain, still took two or three tries to open.

The hotel was renovated at some point and in decent condition. The price was right for what we got, good for a one night stay. I was impressed with the sound proofing from the highway, not as impressed with the sound proofing from upstairs. Breakfast food was just OK, liked the freshly ground coffee.

The biggest problem was the numerous amount of semi trucks on the road in. There is a Pilot that was extremely congested with trucks going in. The front desk employee gave us the suggestion of driving through the fast food parking lots on the right. It helped, otherwise you have a long wait behind the stopped trucks.
