Breakfast was severely lacking

I had a terrible experience at this Hampton Inn and would not stay here again. During our stay, we found a cockroach in our room, which was completely unacceptable. I was traveling with my three young children, and instead of feeling comfortable and safe, we spent the entire night feeling disgusted and anxious. None of us could relax or sleep because we were worried there might be more bugs. To make matters worse, despite reporting the issue immediately, I still have not received a refund. It’s extremely disappointing that the hotel has not taken responsibility for such a serious cleanliness issue or made any effort to resolve the situation. A clean and sanitary room is the bare minimum guests should expect, especially from a well-known hotel brand. I cannot recommend staying here based on my experience.

Close to UNC Chapel Hill and cleanliness was wonderful.

We enjoyed our stay. upon arrival the room was very clean and neat. Staff was present at all times especially at front desk ready and able to answer questions and greeting each person entering, very much appreciated. Breakfast was fresh nice sitting area. Parking was good and convenient. Only thing my family and myself wish that the rooms came with a microwave however there was a microwave available in the common area. I will stay there again.

Continently located, good value, clean. Bed wasn’t the most comfortable but was fine.

Great Room Layout!

Very clean and very friendly, helpful staff. Very convent to restaurants and shopping.

Hotel was only for the night during a last minute conference but we were able to book last minute, easy check in and convenient location.

Needs updated charging stations in each room

Great stay. Everything was clean and all needs taken care of.

Evening staff was superb!

Excellent choice and quality. All was fresh and inviting and the service was excellent. I especially enjoyed the waffles and scrambled eggs. I also noted how clean everything was. Thanks for the lovely experience. We missed having a safe in our room. The bedside tables could have been a little larger but that's only because I have a BPAP machine. So no biggee for most folks. The service was great so all in all it was a perfect stay.

Location. I have a brother in hospice care across the street. Breakfast was typical but good. Only there one night. The room appeared good at first but was oddly configured as if it was originally something else. Light switches were in weird places and no lights over the bathroom sink. Thermostats were confusing or non functional. There were two TVs but one remote (desk could not find another). Pool was closed on the hottest day of the year. Given the location, we may come back but I'll ask to see the room first and check on the pool status.

Parking had to be validated.

Little things made this a solid 2 star hotel. Like the sink faucet was positioned to far back from the edge of the sink making it difficult to wash your face. Also, the exposed caulking around the shower stall looked cheap and unprofessional.
-
Average at best. Needs updating.
