Holiday Inn Express Chapel Hill by IHG

No pool - but you can use the pool at the hotel next door. Our stay was excellent, and exceeded our expectations. The staff especially should be commended on their friendliness and willingness to go the extra mile. Very happy!

Staff was incredibly friendly and professional. Bed and pillows were so comfortable. Very clean. It’s very close to Starbucks and near UNC chapel hill. Close to the interstate. It felt safe and inviting. If you don’t plan on breakfast or coffee on site the hotel is great. No coffee maker in the room and coffee in the lobby was terrible. Good thing Starbucks is in walking distance. Breakfast was a no for us but they had it available.

Friendly staff, comfy room and clean. Quiet room.

A typical hotel breakfast. Nothing to rave about. Hotel interior layout was chaotic. I am 80 years old and my wife is 65, in the area to receive medical treatment. We were required to put up a $50 security deposit as if we were a rowdy motorcycle gang. The place must be attracting the wrong kind of crowd. We won't be back.

The overall room was clean, although there was some missed spots in the shower and around the toilet .

Although this hotel is outdated and could use Alot of remodeling, the room was clean and I enjoyed the breakfast

Monique at check in was wonderful! Sweet and helpful! The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful. Good coffee!

Great breakfast. Great Room. Very helpful front desk staff. It was unfortunate we had to pay for parking, but everything else was great.

Continental breakfast was awesome with great selections. We were terribly disappointed that there wasn't a coffee pot, coffee, tea etc in our room or even a station in the dining area to make our own.

Free breakfast was nice and room itself was good. Niche experience but the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, causing a full evacuation, which would be excusable if it was the first time but many people said this had happened the night before too.

The soap dispensers in the bathroom were empty and after they filled them, they did not work. And the safe in the room did not work. And even after they said I wasn't being charged for parking, I kept getting texts sign up. The breakfast was ridiculous and the snacks were non existent. Don't waste your money staying at this place.

Hotel was clean, bed was comfortable, staff was friendly. Parking is a little limited but not a problem (may be more of an issue with a large vehicle). It’s abt a 10 minute drive to UNC-CH campus (depending on traffic). I would recommend staying here and will more than likely stay here again.

Staff was amazing. I had an incident with my health. They made sure i had what i needed and manager even called to check on me the next day.
