Toilet was broken , had to move rooms and that toilet didn’t work unless you jiggled the handle. The room itself was not cleaned. It reeked of dog and feet. The floors were sticky, dirt, dog hair and dead bugs on floor. Bed side table also dirty. Toilet was covered in poop spots as well as the wall. Couldn’t use the bathtub it was filled with dead flies, dirt and pubic hair. Bathroom sink didn’t drain. The bedsheets were not cleaned. Had to go out to the store to buy bedsheets and cleaning supplies to wipe down room. The staff themselves were pleasant and very friendly. I would never stay here again though.

The toilet didn’t work the floor and the room were absolutely filthy and the next morning after I cleaned my room myself I brought my own comforter out to my car. A manager came running down, taking pictures of my vehicle, cause he thought I stole one of their blankets which they didn’t have a nice down feather blankets. I explained to him it was my blanket and he stood there and told me to wait while he had the other person go look in the room and he took pictures of my vehicle. I was furious. I would not recommend to stay there. Their rooms are always filthy dirty disgusting luckily I clean houses and I had all my cleaning stuff with me to clean my own room.

The location was good. My husband say the breakfast was good. The water pressure from the sink was not good. The shower head was not moveable to your body. Also, the shower curtain was dirty.

The outside of the hotel needs attention , there are two building between the Days Inn and Travelodge and they are overgrown with weeds and junk trucks filled with trash. We understand that you have been sold to the Days Inn. But it felt like we were the in the slum area. The room was clean but the bed was like sleepling in a glider and when you rolled over the whole bed slide from side to side. The bed cover had black stains on it from like dirt shoes prints. And all the lower leverl rooms are smoking. climbing steps was difficult for me

The room was clean but the toilet was another issue Low water pressure People running around in front of our room all night and talking loudly People smoking on the balcony

After checking in, we went to our assigned room, only to find trash all over the place, beds unmade and a four odor in the room. Went back to desk, was given another room. This one was ‘cleaner”, but still odorous, only 2 towels a for room that was supposed to sleep four (2 queen size beds). Checked out at 7 am, yet kept receiving check out notices. Also 10 identical e-mails with billing statement that was not complete. Would not recommend, nor stay here again.

Upon arrival no one was behind the desk in the lobby. We waited approximately 10 minutes and I sought the help of cleaning personnel. As they were calling, they said “here she is” as we saw a woman walking through the parking lot.

Booked A King Handicapped Room. NonSmoking. When I Got There They Tried To Put Me In Room %21 Upstairs. They Gave Me Room 106 It Was Dirty, Water Did Not Go Down In Tub. Smelled So Much Like Smoke It Made Me Sick. Had To Sit Outside With Door Open For Over An Hour Before Smell Got A Little Better. Clock Was Set Two Hours Ahead Of Time So I Thought I Missed Breakfast. Very Disappointing Used To Like Staying Here But Probably Never Again. Should Have Gotten A Complete Refund.

Unfortunately, our room smelled like an ashtray & I'd asked for a non-smoking room. The was no shower curtain, There was hair from the previous people all over the bedspread and shower. The hairdryer did not work. The towels were stained & frayed. There were people that seemed to be junkies arguing during the evening a few rooms away. Not an ideal stay.

Room was updated and clean. The outside appearance is dated but it’s not a new building

Location was great, rooms were nice and quite.Priced at a good value. Verity of places to eat

Where do I start… TV was inoperable, there was a hole in an our sink, the “non smoking room” reeked of cigarette smoke, trash and chairs everywhere on the property, our smoke alarm starting chirping at 4am because it was low on batteries. Overall bad experience, pay around $40 more dollars to stay in a Hotel and or nicer area.

Good location even though Charles Town is a small town. Near everything. Noisy as our room was right next to Main Street where there was a lot traffic.

Most importantly to me, the two beds were clean, but nothing else was. The floor was covered in dirt and looked like it hadn’t been swept in weeks, there were a few dead beetles on the ground, cobwebs in the corner of the room, and the tub had a dirt spot on it and the curtain looked grimy like it hadn’t been washed in a while either. The beds are held up by some pieces of wood shoved underneath each corner and the bed skirts were ripped. When I arrived, I got an automated text from Travelodge saying I could just text back to that number if I needed anything during my stay. I texted back asking for a broom so I could sweep the floor myself, and got a text back saying that text feature is unavailable and to call the front desk if I needed anything. Another weird thing is that our room (two queen beds that I booked for four people- myself, husband, and two kids) and the room was only stocked with two towels.
