Clean and beautiful pool. Great location.
-
Wonderful stay. Comfortable bed. Nice pool and sitting area. Great view. Bar/food options on premises.

The view Had to ask two times on day one of my stay and one time on day two of my stay for a chair on the balcony. I booked this hotel for our 40th wedding anniversary and the view was the reason I booked. We were unable to enjoy the view because there was only one chair on the balcony. Paying extra money for a balcony was a waste. I told the front desk clerk when checking in it was our anniversary and each time I called. No apology or upgrades which I am used to being a rewards member. Marriott also charged my credit card when I booked through bookings.com. I called, no answer, left a message, iwill call back Monday. The only thing I should owe is parking 15 per night my card was billed 120. So disappointing

Location, pool, balcony, sunset 1 shuttle and was an hour and a half to get a ride downtown therefore 3 shuttles were full prior to being able to ride downtown, our party was split and we returned to order pizza from our room in order to eat together

Lovely property. Shuttle service to MUSC and historic district is very convenient. All staff were pleasant and helpful.
-
The rooms are big and comfortable and the balcony is nice. I think guests should have been compensated in some way for the pool being down, or given advance notice to switch hotels. I was disappointed in marriot and the approach.
-
Check in was excellent. Shuttle service was excellent. Pool was broken, could not use. Elevator was broken. Took Some time to fix it. Bonvoy members should Not have to pay for parking.

The property was under construction while we stayed here. I felt taken advantage of because of this. Any other place we could have stayed didn’t have the noise or displacement we felt. I still paid full price for a property that wasn’t a complete product that I paid for. Construction ALL day, maybe a couple hours of no construction while we stayed. That should have been reflected in what was charged. We would have stayed somewhere else for the same price. I hope corporate reads this as I am a fan, I just think I was duped for quality of stay vs a property under construction.
