Breakfast was decent. Parking was good.

There were no towels because the dryer was broken. No refund on room was given. Shower old with mold. Shower glass doors leaked

We asked for wash clothes daily. We did not have wash clothes two days out of four. When we got wash clothes they would remove them the next day. When we went to the front desk they said they only had one washing machine! This is an 8 story hotel!! The water pressure was the worse I have used. The show dropped water. I have used Holiday for over 40 years - may not continue. The front desk did not care! We departed a full day early! LeBron Morgan

We arrived right at 4 pm for check in, and we were unable to check in until 6 pm due to the dryers going out and not having any dry bedsheets to put on our bed. We were baffled because this has never happened to us in all of our travel experiences. They have no quick or other solutions available, and after a long drive that is not what you want to hear. Not to mention all of the other guests unhappy, talking poorly about the staff in the lobby when we arrived. We also had 4 nights we were battling to even find pool or bathroom towels to use due to this dryer fiasco. The parking situation is horrible you have to park over at the garage next door because there are very limited on site spots, which is an extra inconvenience. The drain in the shower was also horrible and the water would go out randomly for 10 seconds and come back. Overall would NEVER go back to that hotel again or another Hilton express after that experience.

When I checked in, they didn't tell me there would be a charge for parking or location fee. I had a running toilet for 2 days. I went to the front desk twice, and it's still running. No hand towels available. First morning breakfast orange juice ran out.There was no milk.

We had to park across the street in a garage that did not feel safe in the least. We had no towels for our stay. The television would not work properly. Tried to get towels and finally got 2 towels the second day. Never could get a maintenance person to come and look at the television. This will definitely be the last time i book with a holiday inn express. Worst hotel experience i have ever had.

Hotel is going thru renovations. Rooms need updated. Tv only worked sometimes. Carpet needs cleaned, foot prints when you got into the shower. Toilet kept running rvery 10 minutes, they did fix. Shower water pressure was almost nothing, they did fix.

Overall the hotel was nice but we did not have a working tv or phone during our 4 day stay. We asked staff multiple times about it and they could not give an answer about when or if it would be fixed. The breakfast everyday was great and the pool was nice as well.

Made an RSVP for my elderly mother who was driving there from TX with her partner. She arrived late (10P) and was told that they couldn’t accommodate her because the cleaning staff didn’t show up that day. I spoke to the front desk and they said that they couldn’t do anything to accommodate her nor help them make reservation at another IHG hotel. The front staff was incompetent and unwilling to do anything. So I called IHG customer service who came back to me and said that the hotel was oversold, ergo the staff lied! This review has nothing to do with the hotel itself just the staff.

The shower was dirty. We had no towels when we arrived and had to ask for them each day. Room serviced 2/4 days . Room was dirty .

Our stay was great. The parking was limited.

Beds very comfortable. Room very clean. Buffet breakfast great. Loved the complimentary ground coffee.

Great location clean and price was right . It was not a luxury vacation — we had an appt at musc . It served our purpose well. Could the bathroom use some updating ? Yes . Did I care ? No

I would not recommend this hotel. We chose it due to its location (close to Charleston), pool and breakfast. However it was difficult to appreciate due to disappointments we encountered. We arrived at the appropriate check-in time to find that 2 of our 3 rooms were not ready. The receptionist could not tell us when they would be ready- we had a dinner reservation so 8 of us had to get ready in one room. The bathrooms were very worn down. (There are signs suggesting renovation is occurring-we saw no evidence.)Due to the lack of bathroom hooks we had to hang towels/washcloths on tub. The next day several of them had dark mold from the tub. There were never any towels at pool. (We noticed several cockroaches at the pool and my in-laws found one in their room.)The receptionist put our payments on the wrong credit card-which complicated check-out. I feel sorry for staff members as this hotel seems completely understaffed-which I'm sure is at the root of many of these problems. The price of this hotel is not equivalent to the experience provided.

Also, I would have preferred a real door on the bathroom. Locking a bathroom door should be expected.

Was charged for parking when I didn't have a car.
