House keeping was on the ball. House keeping management will come knock on your door everyday at around 4 to make sure they did there job 😆. The property was little out dated but a good place to stay.

The staff were welcoming and accommodating mood. The hotel itself feels very outdated. The smoke alarm beeped all night. The elevators took a while to run. Overall, for $600 for two nights, I was not impressed with this stay.

The staff were very friendly, accommodating, helpful and nice. It was neat and clean. The bed was comfortable. The food was very good. There was too much outside noise with it being between 2 highways. The pool was 4 floors outdoor below where we were staying and there was people outside there talking till 4 in the morning which made it difficult to sleep.

Breakfast wasn’t free. No microwave in our room.

It had a good view of the city It was old. It good have upgraded it’s elevators. The breakfast food was okey. The restaurant floor smelled dirty

The shuttle in and out of downtown Charleston was great! Super friendly and accommodating.

Perfect amenities for a quick stopover in Charleston. Easy access to the city and surrounding area. Amazing views!

Don’t waist your time or money booking.

Excellent view of Charleston and the Ashley River. Room had updated furniture but hotel needs a complete renovation. Also, while a balcony was not advertised, the pictures showed balconies. We paid for a scenic view and were looking forward to being out on the balcony. However, the sliding doors were bolted shut so we were not able to get out onto it. I do want to point out that the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly.

Nice, older facility. Every room has a great view. Reminds me of the old Tower Records building. Pretty cool.

The front staff was amazing and the cleanliness. I didn’t like the balcony door not opening and the fridge not really being a fridge but more so like chiller based off what was advised.

The room was large, and the restaurant was nice. My server Jo was super friendly and efficient! The ice machine on my floor did not work (8th floor). An employee told me to go to the third floor because she wasn’t sure others would work. This told me she knew the machine was not working for some time. I texted the front desk and was told maintenance would be called. It was not fixed by the time I left. Summer in Charleston is very hot. Why isn’t someone doing something about the hotel ice machines?

The room was poorly cleaned. In fact, I would not walk barefoot on those floors. I requested to have the room cleaned and they supposedly did. I went back to the room and it was still the same. There was a long piece of hair on the bathroom door from the moment I checked in to the moment I left the hotel. The room was supposedly cleaned three times during my stay, yet the long very visible hair was never removed. Overall dirty, the elevator floors were also very dirty.

We were in the 9th floor... we heard vehicles/motorcycles driving on the road below us, all night... heard other guests making any noise in their rooms

Rooms could be cleaner. Dead cockroach in hall. Pee around the toilet.

The staff at this Holiday Inn is exceptional. We have stayed here many times and the service is fabulous at the front desk and the restaurant. The view is amazing. Definitely recommend the harbor view. The shuttle into town is so convenient. Drops you right at the market and from there you can walk everywhere.

Pleasantly surprised for the shuttle service to and from the downtown historical area of charleston. Used it to and from 4 times. Really took the pressure off driving ourselves. Loved the view and great service in the rooftop restaurant/bar. Breakfast was great. Busy traffic getting in and out of this location.

Love the free shuttle. Room was clean and comfy. Handicap accessible room, but had a bath tub instead of walk in shower. Tub was incredibly slippery! Teeny tiny waste basket in bathroom.
