Everything could have been better. The room looked like it was decorated with furniture from the Goodwill Store instead of something you paid over $600 for two nights to stay in. (photos attached) The woman running the breakfast should not be in the service industry. Both Sunday and Monday she was closing down the breakfast service BEFORE the time that was previously stated by the front desk. On Sunday, only one amazing staff member, Dominique, had to step in and correct the woman, but by then, the damage was done: she had already removed all the hot items (eggs, bacon, breakfast sandwiches, waffle batter, etc.) My wife and I had a bagel and coffee, again, after paying $600 for two nights for a hotel that boasts a "good breakfast." The extra paid for a balcony was a waste as the door had to be pried open, and then couldn't be closed again. Save your money, stay somewhere else. Horrible room, horrible breakfast, horrible service, with the exception of one bright spot, Dominique.

Great stay. Close by to everything.

Room smelled, had to change the room. AC in the room was very noisy. Limited breakfast choices.

Front desk was kind and diligent. There was an issue with the main bedroom toilet being clogged when we arrived but she quickly had maintenance come repair it. Pool area needs some updates standing water noted and it could use some nice upgrades to make it inviting. Beds were comfortable, nice hot shower. Balcony was overlooking the roof and AC pipes, not the best view so we didn’t use it. The AC vent on the balcony needs to either be cleaned or covered lots of dirt and water. Lastly, thought there was an actual water view however it’s not as pictured online.

Okay! I didn't like that there was no ice machines on the property because there were refrigerators in the room When you arrive the ice makers are not on. Front desk will give you a small bag of ice. During our overnight stay, the ice maker may have made 20 very small ice cubes. This was a deal breaker for me. I will never stay at a Residence Inn or sister property again. P.S. Many travelers have ice coolers and need ice to continue their journey.

Location we were close enough for a quick drive into town. Pretty water views with the boats. The outdoor pool was warm. The room was not clean. The kitchen counters were visibly dirty and took 3 antibacterial wipes to clean up. There was something sticky and dirty on the wall and photo in the kitchen. Clumps of hair were left behind the bathroom door and behind the toilet. No attention to detail cleaning the unit.

Free and easy parking - no registration or hang tag. Great hot tub and pool. Bathroom in my room showing signs of wear and tear that could be remediated. No pool towels available during my stay - had to use small work out towels. Staff was friendly. Would definitely go back. Pool and hot tube were great !

Room was large and everything worked. As locals that were having home repairs done, we will scope out another place in the event we need to stay in town again. The staff was very friendly and helpful. 5 stars to the front desk staff.

Not applicable since the stay was so short due to the roaches in the room and the room they tried to move us to. Roaches in our room upon arrival. The room that was going to a different option had discarded food under the sink and roaches.

Perfect location between downtown Charleston and Folly Beach, everything around a 10 minute drive. Pictures did make the pool look bigger, but still good if you go during a time off season. We visited July 7th. Breakfast was good, just wish there were more options with coffee and it was served all day. Room was cozy, stayed cool, and the kitchen was perfect. Parking is excellent!! Staff was 10/10. We will be booking again.

We stayed at a lovely little bungalow that accommodated all 6 of us including an outdoor shower.

The breakfast was good and the staff was very helpful with answering questions that I had. The fact that the a/c was not working in one of the rooms that we had.The hotel was very understanding of this, and because the weather was so hot, they offered to have us not pay for that night. Unfortunately they said we had to contact Booking.com to get them to agree to this. BOOKING.COM WAS HORRIBLE, AND DID NOT AGREE TO THIS. I WILL NEVER, EVER USE BOOKING.COM AGAIN AND MAKE SURE I TELL EVERYONE THAT I KNOW NOT TO USE BOOKING.COM. Too bad it was not them having to stay in a hot room during a heat wave.

Excellent staff. Close to old town Charleston. Clean and pleasant. Rooms need some updating.
