Location. Our room was dirty immediately upon entry. Hair, actual clumps of dirt, etc. were obviously visible in the floor. The shower was worn, with deep gouges in the flooring. We requested our room be cleaned and it took almost an hour of us waiting in the lobby and requesting updates. The staff did not seem at all surprised that our room was dirty, and weren’t in a hurry to fix it.

The Ballantyne area is a high end part of Charlotte. We certainly enjoyed having easy parking and so many options for food just steps from our hotel.
