I booked a VERY last minute stay at Aloft after a poor experience in a moldy, Concord hotel. Booked and arrived 25 min later at 11pm. I was welcomed by a kind and patient front desk staff (Adarian!) who even remembered my name and my dog's name throughout our stay. The room was clean (thank god!) and I was finally able to rest. My pup was happy too! I did not get a chance to use the amenities but I saw several guests socializing at the bar and pool table area watching the game.

My husband & I traveled for a concert and it was perfect for the location. We had a great few days surrounding the concert checking out downtown Charlotte, Camp North End, and a few breweries. Parking was quite expensive & not well labeled.

Worst booking experience Ever, still trying to process the insurance

The guy that checked us in said there was a $100.00 cleaning, tear up fee is anything was wrong if not we would get it back at check out and here it is Monday and it’s still pending to come out. I had to go to the ATM at the hotel they would not let me use my card or it had to be charged to the card on file. Like the food and drinks I didn’t won’t to charge my husbands card. I wanted to use my card but not I had to go get cash from the ATM in the lobby that charge 2.50+3.50 fee and didn’t even print a receipt. I also wanted to pay for the parking with my card and the same guy said no sorry it will go on the card on file. My other thing is they took the money out of the account that money for the hotel and we had not even left home to come to the hotel yet.

It’s Charlotte so any stay is going to be busy and hectic but it’s right outside of the Spectrum Center which is why we booked here. The bed was a true king size and comfortable. The room was extremely small but intimate. I stayed for one night and that was enough. We had to valet the car for a fee. The staff were lovely. I did have an issue with someone charging drinks to my room and extra fees being added but they were able to have that resolved and refunded. For the most part it was a peaceful stay.

Old and musty smell in hotel

The hotel was nice and the staff was nice as well. The only issue I had was I was not able to get a room upgrade and was not able to get a late check out on a Monday.
