Omni Charlotte Hotel

I really enjoyed my stay at the Omni. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming.

Great place

While experiencing car trouble and being unable to make the reservation, the hotel still charged the full amount. Even after I spoke with reservations and they were inclined to help. I've now paid for something I didn't use!!

I love that the property was continently located and that it was clean. Room service was excellent! The Omni is a beautiful hotel! I didn’t like that the bathrooms had no towel racks. It was the weirdest thing. I also didn’t like that there weren’t many outlets to charge devices in the room.

I will say the pool on the rooftop was a lot smaller than the pictures.

Location and friendly staff Toilet broke at 1am so me and my spouse had to keep going to the second floor by the pool use the bathroom in the middle of the night

I appreciate the staff setting us up with playpen for our baby! I also appreciate the hospitality we received during every interaction. The one thing that I did not enjoy was the bed/mattress. It caved in the centre and was very soft. This made some nights uncomfortable unfortunately.

Had a wonderful time at the Omni, and in Charlotte too. The staff throughout the hotel were wonderful and the room was outstanding too. Will definitely return, and recommend to others.

I like where the location was. Everything you need is in walking distance. It's also really nice restaurants close by Unfortunately, our rooms, they weren't the nicest. Yeah stains on the floor

Room was ok, although blinds did NOT close all the way no matter what we did, eventually had to use a hair clip to keep them together so the sunlight wouldn’t come in to our east-facing room. Beware of the valet-when we came back to get our car to go to dinner the same night we checked in, someone had changed the seat settings completely, and somehow scrubbed all our screen settings (all the saved radio stations, etc were gone). Had to manually reset everything, and when asked about it got a big “dunno”. Really disappointing and frustrating, especially for $55 per night valet only situation.

Location was amazing! The staff was so nice and helpful. The room was very spacious and it felt clean.

The location was convenient, and valet parking offered the flexibility to retrieve our vehicle whenever needed. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not justify the premium price. For the price we paid, the hotel was not nearly as nice as I expected. It felt outdated, with water damage bubbles in the bathroom and a rusty, unappealing toilet handle. The building was also extremely noisy. We could hear surrounding guests and housekeeping for what seemed like hours each morning. Even with a Do Not Disturb sign on our door, the constant activity made my guest and me feel uneasy, as if someone might enter the room. There was also an annoying ticking noise coming from the window treatments that we could not figure out how to stop, which bothered us throughout the night. The pool was overcrowded when we visited, and there were no seats with umbrellas available. With how hot it was, sitting there without shade was not an option. Checkout was frustrating as well. I originally asked the front desk if a luggage cart could simply be left outside our room so we could pack it ourselves at our own pace. An attendant arrived too early, before we were finished packing, so I specifically asked him to return at 10:45 a.m. We waited until almost 11 a.m., but he never came back, and we ended up carrying everything ourselves. I was also disappointed by the $55-per-night parking charge. The valet made it seem as though our only options were the hotel parking for $55 or a neighboring lot for $60. We later found all-day parking just blocks away for $12. While the hotel parking included the ability to retrieve our car whenever we wanted, we did not need that option and would have gladly walked a block or two to save the money. I signed up for the Omni rewards program expecting the advertised welcome drink and other benefits, but nothing was mentioned - just handed a generic info sheet. For the amount we spent, the room condition, noise, overcrowded amenities, checkout experience, parking costs and lack of rewards benefits were extremely disappointing. I will not be returning to an Omni in the future,

My stay started fantastic! Front desk was amazing! The valet was great except for the fact that their app to request the vehicle wasn't working the whole week, but otherwise phenomenal. The problem now though, is, the cleaning staff did not do their job, all they had to do was clean my room and it wasn't done. The trash was not thrown out. I found pillows on the floor and I found blankets on the couch like I don't understand what level of service this was because I got no service this week when it came to cleaning. Everything else was great, though!

The gym the hotel has a partnership with (One Athletics) is one of the best I've ever been to. I've been working out for 30+ years and it was amazing.
