Courtyard by Marriott Charlotte Airport North

This is a new property. Great location for catching our early morning flight. Unfortunately, the wifi was spotty and the pool wasn't ready. The elevator was also out of service but the property is only two floors.

We had to leave early for the airport so we "missed" breakfast. I believe they had a computer/business center and fitness area. The shuttle guy taking us to the airport seemed nice.

Checked in and was found a handicapped room on ground floor, as elevator wasn't working and I explained I could not carry all my heavy luggage up and down the stairs. When my sister turned down her bed the bed was wet thru the comforter, sheets, pad, and mattress. Called front desk and he came to look at it thinking only needed the bedding changed. Only other room was on 2nd floor with no elevator svc and lots of heavy luggage so we ended up sharing the other bed. I also requested a 5am wake up call which I did not receive. The morning front desk workers were horrified. I did not see how a bed could be changed between clients when it had a huge wet spot going thru everything on it. It was only made up to look like they changed bedding. The young man who came to look at it assured me he would leave this info for morning crew. They knew nothing. The light over the sink went out after only a few seconds when turned on. This was just 1 night at this location. They did say they wouldn't charge me for parking $10 which I had no idea there was such a charge. Never been charged for parking at any other hotel I've ever stayed at. I was happy to leave.

No room was available. Elevator wasn’t working. Keys weren’t working to a number of rooms. Went to another hotel

Great staff, clean room and the Bistro downstairs was convenient and delicious

Having the Bistro right in hotel is very helpful after a long day of traveling to be able to get a meal right there.

Customer service was not that impressive. Simple issue, solved it myself later.
