Red Roof Inn Charlotte - Airport

Property was maintained well no complaints or issues just the airplanes overhead but it is near an airport so what would one expect 😇I still rested and would stay again and recommend it!

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had after booking a hotel staff at the front desk hung up with me twice after I called to ask for the shuttle to the airport and they never sent it. I actually had to end up booking a new room.

The room was updated and clean. The front desk lady on evening shift said the room was in the back. It was 5 doors down from the office in the front. I ask about the shuttle SHE said drop your key in the morning and ask for one. I went to check out at 7 a.m told the man I needed the shuttle and his reply was " it's not wrote down... Did you tell someone". I told him I did and he acted like I didn't. IT states on the Web site that the shuttle runs 7-11 a.m. every hour. So I'm confused.. How exactly does it work?? I even ask if she was new due to her not knowing things and he seemed to get upset. Only reason I even ask was that maybe they need to refresh her memory. Because it is very important to get to Charlotte airport on time especially in the a.m.

They can’t give you a receipt for your stay. AC are off and then noisy. Toilet leaking making noise .

Toilet wouldn’t flush properly.

they did not have tv, wifi, and they wanted me to go to gas station to use ATM TO GET CASH FOR ROOM, no credit card, obviously we did not stay, not a good area also,

Location, staff, cleanliness, affordability Sometimes there’s no hot shower, internet is slow.

It’s really close to the airport near everything

I got stuck in Charlotte when my flight was canceled and needed a nearby hotel to get some sleep and a shower. I chose an airport hotel with airport shuttle service so that I could quickly get to the hotel (it was already pretty late at night) and then back to the airport first thing in the morning. I called for the shuttle when I arrived at the shuttle station and was told it would be 10-15 minutes. After 20 minutes I called and was told that they did not know where the driver was. She was not answering their calls. I waited 10 more minutes and finally grabbed a taxi. Once at the hotel, I was told that the morning shuttles were only 1 per hour starting at 7am. That was not early enough for my mornming flight (considering the long lines and waits that are typical in airports these days) and so I had to take an uber at 6:30 in the morning, Total loss on the so-called shuttle service. Also, they did not have a hair dryer to offer me so I had to go to bed with wet hair. The AC was very loud. Arrived home sick and exhausted.

Well lit lobby, welcoming helpful staff, clean room, comfy bed, easy check in.

The room was damaged. The personal inthe front desk and the manager was very rude and unprofessional. VERY BAD HOTEL. DONT PROMO

The hotel is in very bad condition. The room was not clean, there was no hot water, and they did not return the $50 deposit. My experience was very bad and I do not recommend this hotel.

Don't stay here. The airport shuttle was unavailable. This was not communicated in advance to the customer. The internet barely worked. There was a domestic violence dispute on the property. Staff seem like they don't know whats going on and keep referring me to the manager who would be at the property at an unknown time. The pictures are all lies. Unknown stains on the chairs/mini sofa.
