Red Roof Inn Charlotte - Airport

IThere was no front desk staff present when we arrived, and it took them a while to show up, Improvements to the surrounding areas and parking facilities.

Took 1 hour to check in with reservations place is run down crack heads everywhere

The room was clean but very old. The tub had spots where there was no porcelain. The description on Expedia was not accurate. Also, parking and airport shuttle cost extra. I could have stayed at a higher end hotel and not paid for parking during my trip (the entire reason to stay).

No recomiendo huele mucho a sigarro, estuvimos 3 días y solo nos dieron dos tuallas, para el día de la salida nos pasamos unos minutos de las 11 por qué nos dormimos y no nos tocaron la puerta solo la abrieron, les dijimos. Que ya íbamos a salir alos 8 segundo nuevamente llegó alguien a tocar como si iba botar la puerta

Door to room would not shut from inside. Had to put a rope around handle to pull outside handle down to close door inside. The rub was literally flaking off paint. The celing looks like it has been repaired multiple times due to a leaky roof. Room smelled like stale cigarettes and beef. Wanted to stay longer as my kid got sick and they would not help at front desk, had to go online to book same room.

Property was maintained well no complaints or issues just the airplanes overhead but it is near an airport so what would one expect 😇I still rested and would stay again and recommend it!

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had after booking a hotel staff at the front desk hung up with me twice after I called to ask for the shuttle to the airport and they never sent it. I actually had to end up booking a new room.

They can’t give you a receipt for your stay. AC are off and then noisy. Toilet leaking making noise .

they did not have tv, wifi, and they wanted me to go to gas station to use ATM TO GET CASH FOR ROOM, no credit card, obviously we did not stay, not a good area also,

Location, staff, cleanliness, affordability Sometimes there’s no hot shower, internet is slow.

I got stuck in Charlotte when my flight was canceled and needed a nearby hotel to get some sleep and a shower. I chose an airport hotel with airport shuttle service so that I could quickly get to the hotel (it was already pretty late at night) and then back to the airport first thing in the morning. I called for the shuttle when I arrived at the shuttle station and was told it would be 10-15 minutes. After 20 minutes I called and was told that they did not know where the driver was. She was not answering their calls. I waited 10 more minutes and finally grabbed a taxi. Once at the hotel, I was told that the morning shuttles were only 1 per hour starting at 7am. That was not early enough for my mornming flight (considering the long lines and waits that are typical in airports these days) and so I had to take an uber at 6:30 in the morning, Total loss on the so-called shuttle service. Also, they did not have a hair dryer to offer me so I had to go to bed with wet hair. The AC was very loud. Arrived home sick and exhausted.
