My room was not cleaned on the 3 days I was there, however, the cleaning staff attempted the 1st day but I was not ready to leave. I guess I should have told the front desk on the mornings I was prepared to leave.

The best thing about this property is the cookie they are the best I’ve ever tasted in my life 95% of the staff is rude we had five guests. They kept giving us 2 1/2 towels. Blankets on the bed were dirty tub was stained toilet run slow so you were unable to flush it efficiently. The carpet was stained along with the chair. Ice was not available on our floor. No microwave in the room. I would not stay at the property again. Kasa is the best place to stay in charlotte

Dale and Michelle were amazing and great with their customer service! Met all my needs and so friendly. Dale even went out of his way while on his way to break to get extra towels for me room.

Hotel itself was fine, but the staff could use some retraining… At any given moment there were at least 7-9 people waiting in line for check in or other things. They are extremely slow at check ins and 1 staff member Dave was particularly rude when my room key stopped working and I asked for a new one.

I'll never use hotels.com again and will never stay at this doubtree in south Charlotte.

I recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Charlotte North Carolina from June 18th - June 22nd, and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Throughout our stay, my group which consisted of four women felt uncomfortable, dismissed, and ignored by a staff member named “Dale”. From the beginning, he was consistently rude, dismissive, provided inaccurate information, and repeatedly nitpicked and antagonized us over minor issues. Instead of addressing our concerns professionally, we were brushed off and unfairly treated. The most serious issue involved our room’s air conditioning. We reported that the AC was not working shortly after discovering the problem on day 1, yet we spent two days in a room that remained around 71 degrees during the summer. We contacted the front desk multiple times, and maintenance was sent to the room, but the issue was never resolved. Rather than acknowledging the malfunction, it was implied that we had done something incorrectly. After multiple complaints and several unsuccessful attempts to fix the problem, we were finally moved to another room at approximately 4:00 a.m on the morning of our THIRD day. This situation should have been addressed much sooner, especially after it became clear that maintenance could not resolve the issue. Another serious concern was the condition of the patio walkway surrounding the pool area. Multiple bricks along the back patio and steps were loose and unstable.

We arrived and the staff was very friendly and sweet. When we got off the elevator on the 6th floor there was an awful smell and they seem to have sprayed something to cover it up but it wasn’t working. Entering our room and the bedding had stains and I called downstairs and the front desk staff said housekeeping wasn’t finished for the day mind you this was around 5 in the evening and we never got clean bedding. We went and bout blankets to sleep on top of. Then the tv was not working so we called the front desk again and the staff said it only worked from channel 15 up but the problem was every channel was glitching and maintenance said it was because the hotel had Dish and that was the problem. As someone paying and this being a Hilton brand they could at least have clean sheets and a working tv. Next day we went to use the iron and it was leaking water terribly so again I called downstairs and was told housekeeping don’t arrive until 9am and we would get another one once they were there. We never got it and we waited around a while. The hotel is in need of some upgrades cosmetic wise and some tlc. Our stay could have been a lot better if a few needs had been met at least clean sheets to sleep on.
