DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Charlotte - SouthPark

The manager at the front desk asked me how many guests and I told her two. However, my guest is a local and was only staying with me for two hours tops. I told her that and she told me she could not reverse the charge. I told her from the beginning that my guest is not an overnight guest. The most she did was apologize and that’s that. I asked another manager and was told again that I could not be refunded even though the policy clearly states that only overnight guests would incur additional charges. Extremely disappointed with the service and will file a complaint with corporate. It amazes me with the way way they are trying to make money while I am struggling with every dollar. Poor service.

The hotel suite was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was nice. The front desk staff were incredibly kind and funny! The cookies upon arrival is always such a fun and delicious way to be welcomed! Will stay here again next time we are in Charlotte!

Quiet - excellent location

Nice location. No one ever answers the front desk phone.

We had to request towels everyday because the cleaning staff didn't replenish to match the number of guest on the reservation. There were 2 TV's but only one remote control and that one was cracked and often delayed, even after adding new batteries. The TV's often glitched.

The staff were all amazing and helpful! We had an AC issue upon arrival and no vent working in the bedroom. I felt there were updates that could be made that would have improved the property. The smell in our hallway from room service trays was gross and I felt some type of air freshener would make this better. Visitors like the little things that make their stay feel like home.

We always love staying at the Double Tree in South Park. We can walk to so many restaurants and shops from there and it is a very peaceful environment.

We’ve stayed in Charlotte a few times and this was one of the best hotel stays we’ve had! Check In had a slight hiccup however patience is a virtue. Location is near dining and shopping. The grounds are beautifully kept, a relaxing pool area, rooms are nice a spacious with a balcony for fresh air, restaurant and bar onsite as well. My only complaint would be the parking lot. I’m a Hilton member and was the first that had freshly baked cookies!!

Excellent location very elegant very clean. The only thing I found was sliding door to patio was very hard to open only opened half way.

The front desk staff was super helpful although the room I booked was not the room I was put in. I still enjoyed my stay overall though. Rooms well kept and clean! Bed was comfortable

Second time staying here, beyond beautiful and relaxing. Rooms are clean and upkept. Some draining issues in the bathtub but other than that it was perfect. Super close to everything and right next to the mall. Exceeded my expectations. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Amenities are fantastic.

Great place to stay and great area!

Parking was free and easy to access. Also had sheltered parking. Location was excellent. Close to shopping and restaurants. Great outdoor pool ( no pool towels).
