DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Charlotte - SouthPark

Came with my family for the fourth…. We definitely enjoyed the room and amenities! Everything was clean. Pool was great and the bar had great drinks and customer service!!

The receptionist were delightful, the hotel was played out very nice. Beautiful lobby. Asked several times for the tables at the pool seat. Nothing was done. Room where not clean. Soaps and shampoo in the bathroom was empty they forgot to clean out room. I think all cleaning help at the hotel should be fired and hire a new crew, cause the hotel has lovely features.

Rude employees. Maintenance guy was not happy about me waiting until the morning to solve a loud air conditioning unit.

The pool was nice the room was clean breakfast was expensive for it being the same food you get for free at most hotels

Beautiful place to stay.

The location is hard to beat. There are so many dining options within minutes, whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a nice sit-down dinner. It made our stay incredibly convenient. The hotel itself was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Our room was comfortable with plenty of space to relax, and one thing I especially appreciated was how quickly the elevators arrived—it’s a small detail, but it made getting around the hotel effortless. What truly made this stay exceptional, though, was the service—especially Chino at the front desk. From the moment we walked in, it was obvious he was carrying the weight of what should have been several people’s jobs. He was checking guests in, helping coordinate housekeeping, handling issues with the hotel shop, managing broken orders, and responding to customer complaints—all before he even got to us. Yet somehow, he never lost his composure. Chino greeted every guest with genuine kindness, listened patiently, solved problems efficiently, and made each person feel like they had his full attention. He handled every situation with professionalism, authenticity, and what can only be described as the patience of a saint. It’s rare to see someone remain so calm, positive, and customer-focused under that level of pressure. DoubleTree is fortunate to have someone like him representing the hotel. He absolutely deserves recognition—and, quite honestly,

The room (one bedroom/2 queen bed suite) was excellent. Clean and spacious, comfortable. Great access to a walking path to take pets as needed. After a 10 hour day of driving, the parking situation was a little odd, and when asking for a luggage cart, staff were not helpful in finding one and essentially told us “good luck.”

My car stolen from hotel while staying here customer service is horrible if you ask about anything everyone at the the front desk has a attitude

Clean, hotel with very spacious rooms.

Additionally, the building was stunning. Particularly, the outdoor patio area and the pool. I felt like I was staying somewhere much more luxurious without the price point. Furthermore, the location was terrific. There was a mall, several restaurants, and stores within reasonable walking distance. Lastly, I really liked how the hotel offered complimentary cookies to its guests. Initially, I expected not to be able to eat it because I am allergic to nuts. However, once I was handed a nut-free cookie, I was pleased. While I really enjoyed my stay here, there were some things that I didn't like. Firstly, while the hotel's exterior is gorgeous, my room was immensely outdated. For instance, my showerhead looked like it was going to fall off, which was disappointing since it's such a beautiful hotel. Additionally, I didn't like how often they'd replenish the towels at the pool. Oftentimes, they'd run out of towels and have them sent to the room. Sometimes I even waited half an hour just to get the towel. I even noticed other guests bringing their hotel room towels because they didn't want to wait. Therefore, I'd suggest the hotel update its rooms and replenish the towels for the pool more frequently, so guests don't feel obligated to bring their room towels. With that being said, regardless of this, I enjoyed my stay here and would return if I am ever in the Charlotte area again.

Great location, many great restaurants nearby and the Mall for shopping. Always stay at DoubleTree SouthPark when in town.

The property was beautiful and clean. Our room was maybe a little outdated, but spacious, clean, and functional which is what we cared about the most. We had a room that was near the pool that we could easily access from our room—which was a really great feature. Friendly staff, even during a very late check-in. We’d love to stay here again in the future!
