Hampton Inn Charlotte-Uptown

Locating the entrance to the hotel garage was a bit wonky, but otherwise my hotel stay was issue-free. The staff were very nice.

First off the staff throughout the building are wonderful! The hotel is super clean, The rooms are spacious and the beds are super comfortable. The breakfast buffet was amazing! Frittata, bacon and fried potatoes! Not to mention the hot oatmeal with toppings, the waffles, the muffins, etc. This hotel is super close to the convention area with tons of restaurants and diners close by

I loved that it was located only 6 minutes away from the spectrum center. Waited over an hour for my room to be ready! The lobby was full of guest also waiting for their rooms to be ready. It was chaos!

Enjoyed the included breakfast most days of our 4 day stay.

Staff very friendly and cordial. Check in process was a bit of a bad experience from a first time perspective. Upon entry it looked like an airport gate with at least 15 people -including families with littles-waiting around. Apparently rooms were not ready for anyone. Room was okay not especially the cleanest.

The room and the breakfast were fine. Everything was clean and the food options were great! I was a bit skeptical booking a room with a hotel that has a 4pm check-in. It seems so late, specially considering checkout is 11am. But I went ahead and sure enough, it was an issue. I showed up 4:30 and the room was not ready for check in. I had to wait until about 5:30 in the lobby with a crowd of guests going through the same. We had plans at 6 and we were left with hardly any time to prepare and had to rush out. Not an ideal way to start our stay.

Hotel is conveniently located close to Charlotte Convention center and walking distance from good food places. The Staff was professional, polite and extremely helpful. The hotel was clean and upgraded. Breakfast also had decent options.

Rooms are clean and well maintained. The staff were helpful and informative plus ensure to ask if needed anything to contact. Complimentary breakfast was great as it was varied each day.

Staff was super friendly, & answered every question. Breakfast was great. We came for the football game, & incredibly convenient to walk to the stadium. We always stay at Hampton’s when we travel. Thank you!

Good hotel. FYI: It was $35 to park on their deck, so if you have a lot of stuff you’re traveling with, that’s your best option (especially if you have strollers, etc). Good breakfast options. During graveyard hours, some drivers like to blast their music on the streets of Charlotte near the premise.

The room was well appointed and clean. Bed was great. Breakfast was the best I've ever seen in a hotel. Was a little pricey, but it was football weekend, so I knew that would be the case. The staff was extremely helpful in answering my questions. Check in was easy. Great location also. Close to great restaurants and Bank of America Stadium. I will definitely stay again. Highly recommend!
