The breakfast had a pretty bad selection, the worse part was the AC stopped working at night and randomly started working again in the morning. It was unbearably hot at night, 76 degrees. However I found the parking to be affordable and easy

Breakfast was great! Food was very well prepared and there was a large variety of dishes to choose from. Staff is very courteous and accommodating. When I called the day before my check in, the staff member was very helpful in response to my questions, which made a big difference to some changes to my travel plans. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel. 5 minute walk to the convention center. Many restaurant options also within walking distance. Uptown area is safe with lots of visitor foot traffic. Parking garage is conveniently attached to the hotel. Room was quiet, comfortable and clean. I would stay here again.

Siempre me a gustado excelente para mi muy aceptable

Everything was perfect. The ONLY issue was the sliding bathroom door was extremely hard to get open and closed. Even then it was a wonderful stay!

I had a very comfortable stay here. Comfortable bed and clean room. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. Convenient location for uptown.

Rooms were very clean and a delicious breakfast served daily

The next day we was not in the room all day nor had a sign on the door, and there was no service when we briefly stopped back to the room to prepare for next venture which was around 3pm but there was housekeeping on the floor and doing the room next door. I asked front desk to ensure we had clean towels and shower body wash before leaving for a while again. Came back, no towels or bed made - BUT there was new body wash in shower, so they went into the room but didn’t do anything else. Informed front desk and was told again that it would be taken care of, cut to we had to get our own towels and make our own bed since no one showed up.

It was a close walk to the spectrum center. Above average hotel, average hotel breakfast, free parking.

Excellent, clean, spacious room

The staff was friendly and helpful. They made the stay easy. For example: the check in folks recommended a great restaurant within walking distance. The crew in the evening ask the person with a bigger problem that mine if she could just get my room number to pay for the items I wanted to purchase from the little store helping someone. The check out staff was really helpful getting us checked out and answering our questions. Even the housekeeping staff, who shared an elevator, were friendly. It just felt good to have nice people around.

Loved the location

The parking garage situation is very confusing, as it serves two different Hilton hotels: the Hilton Inn Charlotte-Uptown and Hilton Garden Inn. Coming out of the elevator on level G you have to go to right to find the entrance to the former, which almost blends into the parking garage. Unless you have a cell phone you have no way to access information about the hotel's services/amenities once you're in your room. No paper note pads, no directory of services, etc. Just a QR code on the console that you have to access through your phone's camera. (Come to think of it, I don't remember there being a phone. Nor a clock. And the microwave has no button you can push to zero out the minutes left from its previous use.) Premium channels on the TV require that you sign into your personal account to access them, the process for which is tedious & time-consuming. And there was no ice machine on the 3rd floor where I stayed (or mention of it on the menu I downloaded from the QR code).
