Hampton Inn Charlotte-Uptown

It was nice.

Breakfast was great after staying for a concert. Facility was clean however, our ac made the MOST annoying noise on and off our entire stay and the water in the shower didnt get hot…. At all, id say it barely got lukewarm the bed was super comfy and we loved the tv size and ability to watch netflix while we relaxed before heading out. Proximity to spectrum center was great as well as local eateries and bars

Ladies at the desk were super friendly and helpful! The spot was within 15-20 minute walk of pretty much all the things in uptown. Breakfast was also great! Plenty of good quality options.

Hotel was clean parking was simple. easy access. Breakfast was good a decent Selection. Pool was refreshing and the location was exceptional close to everything that we wanted to do

We’ve stayed at this location multiple times, and the staff is always so friendly. It’s a walkable distance to Charlotte sporting events, and very convenient to most other downtown activities. Parking is an additional fee, but it’s easy to get in and out of the deck. Overall, we enjoy staying at this Hampton, and will be back in the future.

The room was not cleaned. They did not have another room for us to move into. Hairs in the beds & shower. Pink and black mold in the shower & sand on the bottom. No hot water. The light in the bathroom did not work. Spills on bathroom counters. Dirty walls and furniture. The front desk gave us their extra linens to help since the beds were dirty but could not remake the beds for us. The handed us two fitted sheets for the pull out beds which were too small to fit the queen beds in our room. A shower curtains. I rough looking throw & some flat sheets. No additional pillow cases. No maintenance or housekeeping on staff at night. The front desk said the room sounded like it was cleaned. Hugh red flag. Would not book here again.

This is a lovely hotel in downtown Charlotte within easy walking distance to the Convention Center and several restaurants. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Parking is convenient, however there are a few steps to gain access from the 4th and 5th floor parking deck. (If you have someone in your party with mobility issues, they should enter from the lobby.) The front desk staff were kind and helpful with area information.

Clean environment, friendly staff The door for the bathrooms in our hotel room didnt have locks. It was just a sliding door. The water was also brown at first when we had just gotten there but that went away 10 minutes later after running the water til it was clear.
